The SAG Awards are here!

And while there may not be any controversy surrounding the award show in which actors are recognized by their peers for outstanding performances, it's still one of our favorite shows to watch!

One of the best parts of the show is when stars introduce themselves to the camera and say why they identify as an actor!

Last year, Jennifer Aniston had one of the best monologues recalling her fondness of the craft throughout her childhood. She said:

"When I was a little girl growing up in New York City, all I ever wanted to be was Scarlett O'Hara. Oh, well. I'm Jennifer Aniston, and I'm an actor."

But Jen isn't the only star to have a funny "I'm an actor" monologue! Anne Hathaway, Steve Carell, and Whoopi Goldberg are just a FEW more of our favorites…

ryan gosling celebrates his birthday alone

Looking good!

On Thursday, Ryan Gosling celebrated turning 35-years-old by attending the red carpet for his new movie The Big Short.

Unfortunately, the Oscar nominee was flying solo on his special day as his baby momma Eva Mendes and daughter Esmeralda stayed at home. How odd!

Still, the Hollywood hunk seemed completely unfazed by their absence — we can't imagine having a little one at a movie premiere would be all that much fun.

However, we are curious as to why Miz Mendes didn't try and get a sitter so that she could spend time with the A-lister on his birthday?? Not to mention, costars Steve Carell and Christian Bale decided to bring their ladies as their plus ones for the event.

Hmm, very inneresting!

May we just say that Ryan looked particularly dashing in his navy suit?? LOLz!

We bet this is going to be a good year for The Notebook heartbreaker.

Happy birthday big guy! Be sure to let us know where to send your present. Thank ya kindly!
