Ah, the summer of ‘05.

Things sure were a lot simpler back then: soul patches and trucker hats were in style, George W. Bush was president, and Jon Stewart's all-star Daily Show team was still in tact.

Thankfully, Stephen Colbert gave us a much needed walk down memory lane on Tuesday's Late Show by reuniting the original Comedy Central news squad!

After an opening bit featuring Stewart and Colbert being ordered around by Trevor Noah, the CBS host drifted off into a star studded flashback to his last day at the Daily Show offices in summer of 2005.

In the sketch, Colbert was joined by fellow correspondents Samantha Bee, Ed Helms, Rob Corddry, and Steve Carell (played by John Oliver, because Carell was unavailable) — who were all fighting over who got Colbert's offices once he left.

Stewart, who was caught in the staff refrigerator emotionally eating their yogurt, then popped out to congratulate his team on "spreading their wings" before they launched their pre-show prayer: "Go liberal agenda!"

Ha! Ch-ch-check it out (below)!

Gru Battles '80s-Obsessed Villains, Monstrous Bubblegum, & Lame Couple Names In The First Trailer For Despicable Me 3! Watch!

The only thing worse than villains is an outdated wardrobe.

Unfortunately, Gru will be facing BOTH in the upcoming Despicable Me 3!

The first trailer for the latest sequel reunites us with Steve Carell's beloved bad guy turned good, who is now working as a super secret agent alongside Lucy (Kristen Wiig).

Aside from dealing with the usual supervillain problems like raising three girls, commanding a horde of minions, and suffering grueling couple names (though we kind of love "Grucy"…), Gru is faced with a brand new ‘80s-obsessed nemesis: Balthazar Bratt!

Voiced by South Park's Trey Parker, this shoulder-pad-wearing, moonwalking baddie certainly gives Gru a run for his money — even challenging him to a "dance fight" set to Michael Jackson's Bad!

Ch-ch-check out the hilarious trailer (above) and catch Despicable Me 3 in theaters June 30, 2017!

Who's Controversial? Blake Lively Just Doesn't Have Enough Good Things To Say About Working With 'Empowering' Woody Allen

Blake Lively and Woody Allen

We're assuming Woody Allen's PR team is on cloud nine as the lovable Blake Lively continues to sing the controversial director's praises time and time again!

Speaking with Hamptons magazine this week, the 28-year-old gushed (again) about working with the "empowering" movie maker, who has been plagued with sexual assault allegations, while filming the upcoming 1930s drama Café Society.

Miz Lively shared:

"[Woody] creates a very pleasant set where everybody's just happy to be there and happy to be making a movie, and happy to be a part of film history. For him to have that confidence in you almost gives you the confidence in yourself to just go with the flow. And those are the moments that he really likes, the found moments, the moments that aren't written but just happen."
