WOW!
It's been an amazeballz few days for the LGBT community in sports! We aren't quite where we need and deserve to be, but we sure are on our way!!
Not only did Jason Collins come out as a gay man actively in the NBA, but the NHL has partnered with pro-gay initiatives, and now we're hearing that Andy Roddick & Mardy Fish have joined Athlete Ally — which is taking a stand against homophobia!!
Here's what Andy said:

We were THRILLED when Jason Collins became the first openly gay and active athlete on a major American sports team — it was such a powerful moment for both Jason and the LGBT community, and the outpouring of support has been astounding!
For instance, BILL CLINTON took the time to say something about Jason:
“I have known Jason Collins since he was Chelsea’s classmate and friend at Stanford. Jason’s announcement today is an important moment for professional sports and in the history of the LGBT community. It is also the straightforward statement of a good man who wants no more than what so many of us seek: to be able to be who we are; to do our work; to build families and to contribute to our communities. For so many members of the LGBT community, these simple goals remain elusive. I hope that everyone, particularly Jason’s colleagues in the NBA, the media and his many fans extend to him their support and the respect he has earned.”
Uh, that's right — a former President is giving you props for being yourself! Amazeballz!
Here are some other people giving Jason verbal high-fives for being a brave pioneer for himself and the LGBT community in professional sports:

Elton John will be having his 20th annual Mylan WTT Smash Hits next week along with longtime friend, Billie Jean King.
The charity event will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force.

You've had a good run, Andy Roddick.
It's true: Andy didn't win the U.S. Open this year, but he still stuck to what he's been saying all along and has decided to retire from the sport.
He's the only American man who has won a grand slam singles title, but he lost Wednesday in the fourth round of the U.S. Open

Brooklyn Decker looks like the most unenthusiastic fan, ever.
It IS sweet that she's there showing her support at all, but, come on!
We're not even sure she's awake behind those glasses!
HA!
And yes, she is in the company of an equally happy John Legend and his fiancee, Crissy Teagan.
It's like they're all being forced to watch Eddie Murphy's new movie, A Thousand Words.
LOLz!

Now that's spousal support!
Check out this pic of Brooklyn Decker at the Delray Beach International Tennis Championship, in Delray Beach, Florida!
We'd say she's watching her husband Andy Roddick, but, apparently she's rather work on her fist-bump.
Pay attention, Brooklyn! Andy needs you!
(Unless that's practice for a victory-fist-bump after the match!)
Lookin' good, gurl!
