Anyone who knows anything about the NFL knows that when it comes to throwing a football, Drew Brees is one of the best in the business!
But they probably didn’t know that Andy Roddick is the reason he took up the sport in the first place!
That’s right! According to the former tennis superstar, he and Breesy actually played tennis together in their younger years, and A-Rod says he gave him a beat down so bad that he decided to go with football instead!
He took to Twitter to tell the tale, writing:
Yes @drewbrees beat me in tennis when I was 9 and he was 11. Twice…. I finally beat him and he quit tennis. You're welcome football

Ha! We might be reading into this a bit, but it sounds like he’s is still a tad bitter about those two losses to Drew!
But look on the bright side, Andy! You went on to have a great career in tennis and Breesy is still doing his thang in the NFL!
Everybody wins! Except for those two times you lost to Drew, of course!
