Daddy, Shiloh Pax and Maddox were enjoying a family day out at a quad bike track in Miraval when the golf cart pix of Brad and Shiloh were snapped. Angie must be pissed! Looks like Brad Pitt is upset over new photos of his family that have leaked. A photo of Poppa Pitt with Angelina Jolie and most of the kids, except for the newborn twins, was taken when the family was playing in the backyard of their rented French chateau. Now, Brad's legal team has gone on a crazy media attack. They are sending out cease and desist letters to everyone with the images up and threatening to sue if not removed. Will they sue In Touch Weekly??? The magazine is running the photos in this week's issue. According to Pitt's lawyer, Yawl Holtkamp, the photos were "surreptitiously" taken by paparazzi with "highly powerful telephoto lenses." Holtkamp stated that if the photos were published, it would violate the actor's privacy rights. The photos show "Pitt and his family as they engaged in familial activities on private property." The paparazzi agency that originally took the photos and sold them has already agreed to cease and desist from any further sales and has removed the images from their site. The power of Brangelina! Angelina Jolie and her twins were released from the hospital early Saturday morning. The family slipped out of Nice's Lenval Hospital at 4 A.M., avoiding the paparazzi crush that has been surrounding their stay. Knox and Viv are said to be doing well. We shall see them shortly enough! [Photo via Getty Images.] Permalink / 112 comments (RSS) » She's Not Going Anywhere
Mommy Angelina Jolie and the Wonder Twins are all in excellent health but are still cooped up in the hospital. Angie, who gave birth this past Saturday, will reportedly stay put for another few days. A hospital spokesperson said, "After a C-section, the normal stay for a mother in the Lenval hospital is between eight and 10 days…And I'm not sure what day she will be leaving. Only when Dr. Sussmann is completely satisfied that she is in good health and fully recovered from the C-section." A source says that Jolie's doctor knows that she'll try to do too much and that a few days of rest will do her good. "Angelina has four young and lively children at home, and he suspects the temptation to get up out of bed and play with them will overwhelm her," says the source. "He knows how much she misses the other children, but he feels that she will benefit from a few extra days' rest. They're being very well cared for." Poppa Pitt is such a good daddy! We previously mentioned that Fox won't make you wait until January for a taste of some new 24. The network hopes to satiate your hunger for Jack Bauer with a 2-hour TV movie on November 23rd. Well, new details about the film have emerged. The movie will be called 24: Exile and it's meant to tee up the show's January 2009 7th season premiere. The movie takes place on Inauguration Day, just as Noah Daniels is handing the presidential reins to Allison Taylor, a military coup begins in a fictional African country. Jack Bauer has escaped to Africa after Season 6 to help an old buddy who runs a school that rescues child soldiers. As expected, Jack will save the day. Exile was shot in Africa and the storyline "was current, it was emotional and it really centered around children affected by these wars, from Rwanda to Zimbabwe," who are recruited as fighters, 24 star Kiefer Sutherland says in an interview. He went on to say, "The idea of starting out with such an emotional, tangible thing just rooted it in kind of a human element that did not deal in a massive catastrophe, like an atomic bomb or a bioweapon hazard." Angelina Jolie's daddy, Jon Voight, will play the 'bad' guy in the movie and in the 7th season. Sounds hot! [Image via Mavrix Online.] Permalink / 36 comments (RSS) » How Everyone Was Scooped
With so many media outlets just in the U.S. alone fighting for coverage of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins, it's funny to see that that a small French newspaper got the upper hand at writing about them. Nice-Matin's assitant editor, Olivier Biscaye, says "It was Brad Pitt who chose to give the scoop to Nice-Matin. He said to the doctor that the local media should be the first informed about the birth." And the paper's chief writer, Jean-Francois Roubaud, was even given special media access to the hospital and the Bangelina doc! While countless reporters and paparazzi had to wait outside for news, Roubaud was allowed inside the hospital and given access to Brangelina's obstretrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann. And, unlike media outlets such as Entertainment Tonight, who incorrectly reported WEEKS ago that the twins were born, the Nice-Matin had the real scoop this weekend. The newspaper's editor said proudly, "We knew we would be the first in the world." Adding that writer "Rouboud spoke to the doctor around 10 p.m., 9:45. We had all the details: the names, weight, one boy, one girl." And the newspaper goes on to boast that it also had Poppa Pitt's first words after the birth, quoting "Marvellous, wonderful!" Adds the editor, "Nice-Matin has always chosen not to play the game of paparazzi towards the celebrities who have chosen to live in the region. We respect them, and they do likewise. We let them have a peaceful life. This why I think Brad and Angelina have chosen to make this gift to Nice-Matin." If you want to read the rest of the article, detailing how the French newspaper beat the rest of the world's media with the report of the twins birth and how it's now rubbing it in their faces, click here. Always like the French, being on their high horse and gloating. We kid. We kid. We love the French and our French Fries! With the birth of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new son and daughter, we have a feeling that there will be lots of Brangie baby news this week! Their doctor, Michel Sussmann, is quite the yapper. He spoke (a lot) this past weekend and even talked to the media again on Monday, assuring everyone that Angelina is fine (again) and the babies are doing great (as he had previously said). Michel also told reporters that Brad was a great help in the delivery room. Dr. Sussmann jokingly adds that Brad "was my assistant!" He even mentions that Poppa Pitt cut both of the twin's umbilical cords. Adding that Brad was "perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional." As for Angelina, during delivery, the doctor adds that for her, "It was an epidural, so she was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy. [They] were talking, they were together." Ange will be required to stay in the hospital for a few days, so her exact departure dates are yet unknown. Or so the doctor wants us to believe. Dr. Sussmann adds, "She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn't like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay." Yea, that's because in the US people can't afford to stay a few days. Having children is expensive here. And it turns out that their twins might be the highest paid children ever! Reports are still circulating that the first photos of the kids will be worth millions, over $11 million are the new reports, while some estimate between $15-$20 million. But of course, the proceeds will go to charity. The Jolie-Pitt family is just too good to be true! [Image via WENN.] Permalink / 177 comments (RSS) » They've Arrived!
