Joan Rivers loooOOOoooves to shock people, doesn't she?

That's why we love the old broad - but this might have gone a bit too far.

During a Q&A for Internet Week at the Metropolitan Pavilion, Joan went OFF on Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

When talking about the fashion industry, the HBIC of E!'s Fashion Police said:

Gwyneth Paltrow hates the Met Gala more than the memory of all the days she spent eating affordable, non-organic food.

In other words: A LOT!

She admitted, on two separate occasions, that she had a DREADFUL time at the party, and apparently she even got the cold shoulder from Madonna, too!

So, how weird is it that the front page (above) of her Goop newsletter is ALL ABOUT the "un-fun" Met Ball?

Gwynnie even wrote about the party and surprisingly did not have one bad word to say about it:

"The Met Ball, at NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art, is always the year's most elaborate display of incredible fashion and this year was no different. The theme was 'Punk: Chaos to Couture' and when the house of Valentino's Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri asked me to join them, I was thrilled to see what they would create with my right fashion hand, Elizabeth Saltzman."

Accompanying the short description are pictures (below) of the actress getting fitted with her decidedly non-punk Valentino gown.

Is this an attempt to make amends after all the bad-mouthing?

Maybe she wants an invite to next year's shindig after all!

If that's the case, we're not sure this'll be enough to get her back on Anna Wintour's good side.

This settles it — Met Gala drama is the BEST!

Even though Anna Wintour lift her ban and let Kim Kardashian attend the biggest night in fashion last week, that doesn't mean the floodgates have opened and any old Kardashian can just waltz in.

La Wintour put her Manolo Blahnik-clad foot down when it came to Kris Jenner, who was reportedly DESPERATE to attend.

According to a source, Anna said:

"One Kardashian is enough!"

The source also revealed Vogue's HBIC has final approval

Victoria Beckham is in New York, and she may be shooting her rumored Vogue cover! Or even sitting down for the accompanying interview!

A Twitter spy spotted the impeccably dressed fashion maven at the Conde Nast cafeteria on Thursday afternoon, and while there are other magazines inside the 4 Times Square building, we're inclined to believe Posh was there for one mag and one mag ONLY.

For her visit, the designer was dressed to impress Anna Wintour in an exquisite look from her A/W 2013 collection — purple center slit skirt and mocha blouse with black cuffs — and Casadei pumps.

So fab!

Have fun Vogue-ing away, Posh! You've earned it!

Oh, the SHADE!!!

Kim Kardashian may have buttered up Anna Wintour enough to let her walk the Met Gala steps, but not enough to secure a spot on the Vogue.com slideshow.

After all the celebs strolled down the red carpet and the party had wrapped, Vogue put together a gallery of all the looks from the biggest night in fashion, which included a pic of boyfriend Kanye West and his Givenchy suit, but Kim was BLATANTLY cropped out!

OUCH!

You can even see a sliver of Kimmy's floral print Givenchy gleeve gripping Ye's hand.

Was this really necessary, Anna? Couldn't your team of Voguettes find a solo pic of the rapper instead?

Or was this your way of getting the last laugh?

The Met Gala came and went in a whirlwind of fashion activity on Monday night!

We had the good and the bad, but we also had some conspicuous trends.

That quintessential punk staple — the safety pin — found its way onto Carey Mulligan's dress and Zooey Deschanel's clutch.

Paloma Faith, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katy Perry rocked the headpieces, which was a golden crown in Katy's case!

Paloma also got on the gloved-sleeve trend along with Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Kerry Washington.

Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Cara Delevingne and January Jones were all rocking some major ear bling and cuffs while Jessica Biel and Karen Elson opted for small little septum rings.

Quite a few lovely ladies showed off the fruits of their workout regimes in belly-baring numbers, like Gwen Stefani, Olivia Wilde, Nicki Minaj, and Miranda Kerr.

Then there were the rebels, like Anna Wintour and new bestie Kimmy, who wore very non-punk floral gowns.

Maybe they were the most punk of all! LOLz!

Well, this is kind of confusing.

We were VERY excited to see Anna Wintour on the red carpet at the Met Gala, all decked out in some punk finery.

Instead she wore a floral print, cap-sleeved Chanel gown.

Doesn't that just SCREAM punk? Yeah, we didn't think so either.

Daughter Bee Shaffer was even less punk in a princess-y, embellished Christian Dior Haute Couture gown.

Kind of disappointing to see the leader of the free fashion world scoff at her own party theme.

Not cool, La Wintour. Not cool.
