Good news CW fans!

The network has given a second season to Hellcats and Nikita, as well as picking up their veteran show One Tree Hill.

No word yet on whether or not the CW plans to pick up Life Unexpected, however they have picked up a couple scripts for the show, which could mean good news.

CW entertainment president Dawn Ostroff spoke of the pick ups, saying:

"This fall, The CW made several strategic scheduling moves, including adding two of the most buzzed-about new series, Hellcats and Nikita, to our line-up, and we’re thrilled that they’ve paid off for us. By giving our two freshman series and proven performer One Tree Hill full orders, we’ll be able to continue our success and momentum throughout the rest of the season."

But what about Vampire Diaries?? CW has to pick it up, right?? RIGHT?!?!

The CW is a glutton for punishment!

The network has decided to award two shows with the opportunity to shoot six more epsidoes. Both freshman comedy, Hellcats and the show-that-never-ends One Tree Hill got an extra six episode pickup.

We're excited The Tiz gets more time to show the world what she has got, but people, PLEASE. Let One Tree Hill die already! The show is AWFUL and it's keeping Sophia Bush from doing anything decent with her career!

Cut it loose!

But will they stay that way? We shall see!

For now, The CW is having a strong start to their season, with new show, Hellcats, delivering the largest non-Top Model overall audience since Gossip Girl in 2007! The premiere brought in 3 million viewers!

Impressive!

We're hoping this goes HUGE for our girl The Tiz! She totes derserves it!

This is one way to promote your new show! (Pretty smart, actually!)

The CW, home of The Tiz's new show Hellcats, is looking to break a world record on Saturday.

The network has invited squads from around the country to participate in a 5-minute choreographed dance at the Frisco Memorial Stadium in Frisco, TX. The goal is to set a new record for "Largest Cheerleading Dance" at a single venue!

If being a part of breaking a world record isn't enough incentive, how about $4,000?! The squad who brings the most cheerleaders is awarded the prize!

Sounds like fun and, more importantly, the cheapest way to get more media coverage than they could have possibly ever paid for!

Well done, marketing squad!

We are still trying to recover from our mega MuchMusic Video Awards after-party Sunday night in Toronto!
