Is Dustin Hoffman A Focker No More?

wenn2640102dh.jpg

Ben Stiller and the gang have begun filming the third installment of the Meet the Parents franchise, Little Fockers, but rumor has it that Dustin Hoffman won't be reprising his role as Bernie Focker!

Supposedly, Hoffman was going to make a cameo at the end of the film, but it appears he may have pulled out due to scheduling conflicts or because the part wasn't big enough for him!

Diva!

As for Barbra Streisand, she's still playing a big role in the film as Ben Stiller's mother.

We'll just have to wait and see if Dustin and Universal can come to some sort of agreement or it looks like Roz Focker will be going grandma alone!

Posh Goes Wild!

Posh is taking a one-way flight to Africa!

Beckham has been announced to be voicing one of the characters in the upcoming animated Madagascar 3, starring Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer, due out in 2012!

No word on the character Victoria will be supplying the voice for, but Posh is no stranger to voice work - the former Spice Girl played "Queen Amphitrite" in a yet-to-be aired ep of Nickelodeon's Spongebob Squarepants.

What animal could U see Posh supplying the voice for???

Jessica Alba Is A Little Focker

wenn2590986ja.jpg

Really?! She's not very funny.

Remember the shiteous Good Luck Chuck?

Jessica Alba is in talks for a role in Little Fockers, the third installment of the Meet the Parents franchise with Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller.

Jessica would play a sexy pharmaceutical rep "whose looks wreak havoc on male in the story."

Well it all makes sense now, she's being cast as the "pretty girl" again AKA the only role she can play.

The film is set to begin production in the next few months with a predicted release of 2010. It will pick up where Meet the Fockers left off wiith Stiller's and Teri Polo's characters entering parenthood.

YESsica aside, we're looking kinda forward to this. The first two were pretty funny!

Will U be going to see Little Fockers?

Deets on Zoolander 2!

wenn5296307-bs.jpg

As we previously mentioned…..

Ben Stiller wants you to know that the Zoolander sequel IS happening.

When?

He's not sure, but he does have some deets to share.

Stiller reveals he has been working on the script and knows generally where he wants to go with it. It would be set 10 years in the future from the first and Zoolander is dealing with no longer being apart of the model world. Instead, he will engross himself in running a modeling school and raising his now 10 year old son.

And the film could happen even if Owen Wilson doesn't sign back on as Hansel. A

Another shiteous sequel in the making!

Joy.

Stiller Still To Appear In More Sequels

wenn21855762.jpg

Years after making Zoolander, there might be a Zoolander 2 in the works for star Ben Stiller !

Stiller was in London last week for the premiere of another one of his sequels, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. And, during an interview, he confirms the news that there might be a Zoolander 2 in the works, especially since they've been working on scripts.

Stiller says, “I’ve been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we’ve had a few scripts. I feel that is the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first."

And there's more. Stiller adds, “Meet the Parents 3 is a possibility too.”

Enough with the sequels!

Stiller and Witherspoon in… Volcano Action "Comedy"

we-need-mohney.jpg

A wacky disaster comedy starring Ben Stiller, Reese Witherspood, and a volcano?

Sounds like box office gold?

More like box office meltdown!

We actually can't make much sense of the premise for Cameron Crowe's next flick, but we'll give it a shot.

Something about Ben Stiller as a disgraced weapons specialist sent to Hawaii to launch a satellite. He requires the help of the islanders, who are willing to oblige under the condition that their island gods be appeased. And of course, the only way to appease gods is to feed a volcano a virgin sacrifice - or, you know, as close as you can get to that these days. Ben Stiller runs into former flame Reese Witherspoon and we're sort of hoping she ends up in the lava.

Hollywood must be hurting.

stillerelton.jpg

Coming soon to a theater near you!

An Elton John film musical starring Ben Stiller as a gay, HIV/AIDS positive Broadway queen.

No joke!

Poppa Elton recently revealed to GQ that this a project that he has in the works:

"It’s about a guy on Broadway who is gay, has HIV and AIDS, and has to go back and face his wife and his kids that he left. It’s very funny… No, it’s very funny. The premise doesn’t sound funny, but it is. All right?"

Inneresting concept.

Can't wait to see how this comes together!

Tropic Thunder Controversy: Stiller Responds

stiller.jpg

As previously mentioned, a number of disability groups are calling for the boycott of Tropic Thunder because of its portrayal of the mentally challenged.

Director/Writer/Star Ben Stiller just spoke to MTV about the outcry.

He says:

"It's sort of edgy territory, but we felt that as long as the focus was on the actors who were trying to do something to be taken seriously that's going too far or wrong, that was where the humor would come from," Stiller insisted. "[The joke is on] actors reaching for roles in terms of hopefully winning awards."

"Some people have taken this as making fun of handicapped people, but we're really trying to make fun of the actors who use this material as fodder for acclaim," co-writer Etan Cohen echoed to MTV. "The last thing you want is for people to think you're making fun of the victims in this who are having their lives turned into fodder for people to win Oscar

Advocacy groups have called for the studio, Dreamworks to make changes related to the portrayal of the mentally challenged in the film.

Will you see the flick or do you plan on boycotting?
