Every year, the GLAAD Media Awards honor TV, movies, and music that represent the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in a fair, accurate, and inclusive way — especially when it tackles issues that affect their lives.
While it comes as no surprise that Caitlyn Jenner has been nominated for her docuseries, I Am Cait, after her incredible year and slew of other awards, we're thrilled to see some other stars and shows that made the cut!
Both Adam Lambert and Miley Cyrus were nominated for Outstanding Music Artist, while Ellen DeGeneres nabbed a nomination for Outstanding Talk Show Episode when trans fitness model Aydian Dowling stopped by!
There was even some Oscars crossover as Carol and The Danish Girl were both recognized.
Ch-ch-check out the rest of the incredible nominees (below):
Things may not be what they seem…
While on the show, Khloé talked about both her relationship with Lamar Odom as well as tips for giving a great blowjob, she also got on the topic of Caitlyn Jenner and dished that her stepparent wasn't exactly as honest with the Kardashian family as she says she was. Uh oh!
The blonde beauty revealed the family confronted their dad at the time saying:
This doesn't really surprise us.
"I'm going to be nice tonight. I've changed. Not as much as Bruce Jenner, obviously… now Caitlyn Jenner. What a year she's had. She became a role model for trans people everywhere, showing great bravery in breaking down barriers and destroying stereotypes… She didn't do a lot for women drivers, but you can't have everything, can you?"
The comedian also made a joke about Jeffrey Tambor, as he plays a trans woman on Transparent, hiding his genitalia under a dress.
Well apparently Gervais has received quite a bit of backlash as people took offense to his jokes, calling them transphobic.
Even Transparent creator Jill Soloway responded to Ricky's jokes, telling Buzzfeed:
This is a bad idea.
Philadelphia's Mummers Parade is a legendary New Year's Day event, and this year the parade poked fun at Caitlyn Jenner.
The procession featured a Bruce Jenner lookalike wearing an Olympic track outfit, only to transition into a woman posing in front of a blown-up Vanity Fair magazine cover during songs like Dude Looks Like A Lady, and I'm Coming Out.
For his part, incoming Philly mayor Jim Kenney didn't have nice things to say about the parade choice, telling reporters:
"Our trans citizens do not deserve this type of satire/insult."

From questionable hairstyles to the ancient trend that once was the Sidekick cell phone, the 18-year-old and her crew are providing us with tons of laughable commentary while watching the vintage footage.
The world met Caitlyn Jenner just a few short weeks ago. But so did her family!
Good thing big sis Khloe Kardashian is there to help talk her through it.
In this Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we'll see a lot more of what went on behind the scenes of Caitlyn's TV special.
See the emotional convo (below)!
Did he just say what we thought he just said?!
On Friday, Waka Flocka Flame appeared on radio show The Breakfast Club where he talked to host Charlamagne Tha God about using his celebrity status to better society.
Well apparently, the rapper feels the world could do WITHOUT the transgender community!
Specifically, the 29-year-old believes our culture is straying from its traditional roots!
The No Hands artist exclaimed:
