The very lovely and talented Gloria Estefan is FINALLY going to be making sweet, sweet music again!! YAYY!!!

The star has returned to Sony Music Entertainment, her record label of 30 years, with a multi-album deal. And better yet, she’ll be releasing a standards album this fall aptly titled The Standards!

The record will consist of tracks that hold special meaning to the singer, including The Way You Look Tonight and Good Morning Heartache!

Bogdan Roscic, President of Sony Classical and Sony Masterworks added:

Even though Joy Behar has announced she’ll be leaving The View, the execs over at ABC still have until August to search for her replacement!

Now that Barbara Walters cleared up that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is indeed staying on the show, it sounds like they are currently looking for another conservative to be on her side!

And not just any conservative, but a conservative Latina at that!

One of Joy’s potential replacements include Rachel Campos-Duffy, a strict Catholic and Republican, who has six kids and was on the Real World: San Francisco!

She’s also married to a Republican congressman and tried out for the show back in 1999!

Another name that’s popped up has been Jaci Velasquez, who is 33 and married with two kids, along with her own radio show!

As for our favorite person possibly in the running??? Gloria Estefan! We would LOVE to see her on the show!

However, it sounds like they won’t be filling Joy’s spot just yet, as an insider stated:

Gloria Estefan knows how to take care of us…whether her love comes from her music or her pups!

The lovely Latina tweeted a photo of her GAWRGEOUS babes, Bowser and Emilio (Emiliooooooooooo!) and we just want to steal them for our own!

But no…we must resist….as that would be no bueno!

This CANNOT BE real life! We seriously must have wandered into a VERY Latino-licious lucid dream, because there is NO WAY something this INSPIRED and PERFECTO could actually be coming to fruition!

Because Gloria and Emilio Estefan have announced that they will be collaborating with the Nederlander Organization to develop a BRAND NEW BROADWAY MUSICAL based on the lives - AND THE MUSIC - of the pop sensation and her producer/entrepreneur husband!

Yeah. Take a breather, folks! You're going to need it now to keep on processing all of this GREATNESS!

According to the official announcement, the show will detail the Estefans' journey from humble beginnings in Cuba to their DOMINATION of the entertainment industry, with more elements and possibly more collaborators to be announced at a later date!

Jimmy Nederlander, President of the Nederlander Organization, says in a statement:

We are still in shock after yesterday’s news that Mexican banda singer and domestic violence awareness advocate, Jenni Rivera, was taken away from us too soon in a plane crash.

However, the Latina icon will not be forgotten.
