She filed a lawsuit in El Lay court against Robert's Home Audio and Video for using pictures of her from the Oscar-winning movie in an advertising campaign.
Hilary and Clint aren't the only two
At least she's taking some sort of responsibility.
Hilary Swank got into trouble a couple months ago when she attended a party for Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, a man who is accused of torturing and murdering.
She later apologized for the incident, but then made an appearance this week on The Tonight Show, her first since the controversy, to say she was in deep "regret" and "shame on me," for not doing her research beforehand.
Finally. We hope you learned your lesson.
Shock jock Howard Stern has come to defend his recent guest, Brett Ratner.
Stern calls out Hollywood as hypocritical, and saying that members of Hollywood are "loopy."
Stern sites Hollywood's forgiveness towards Roman Polanski's past digressions as well as Hilary Swank's recent flub-up as well. Stern stated that while he does not use the word "fag" and hasn't for many years, he understands that Ratner has no anti-gay intentions.
Stern would go on and say the following:
Hilary Swank has been dumped!
As reported earlier, Swank has been under fire for attending the birthday bash of Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov, a suspected human violator, murderer, torturer, and other not so nice things.
The Million Dollar Baby had some more things to boo-hoo over as her PR firm, 42West, dropped her as a client after disagreeing on how to handle the fiasco.
Swank has also parted ways with her manager of eight years but she has kept her lawyer, a major player in her paid appearance at the party.
She has donated her fee to charity but has not accepted real responsibility. “If I had a full understanding of what this event was apparently intended to be,” she said, “I would never have gone.”

You would think with all the beautiful people in this movie, the Photoshop team over at Warner Bros. would take it easy with the posters.
Check out the last promo image for Gary Marshall's new holiday, celebu-gatherin flick, New Years Eve! The whole gang is here, but we can't figure out if two them just happened to be the couple looking oh-so in love beneath the cast list.
Venture any guesses?
P.S. - No really, what did ya'll do to Lea Michele?! She's a gorgeous girl and you've airbrushed her to the point of being almost unrecognizable! Boo!
Hey, remember when Hilary Swank attended Ramzan Kadyrov's birthday party and pissed a bunch of people off?? Ya know, because the dude's a ruthless torturer!
Well, she's already said how much she regrets it, but now she wants to put her money where her mouth is.
get everyone off her back prove how much she means it, she wants to donate the money she received from attending to various charities.

And not because the goodie bags were just "eh."
Hilary Swank and several other celebrities came under fire this week after it was reported they attended the birthday party concert for the President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov , a ruthless man accused of torturing and killing many, many people.
However, Hilary maintains that when she accepted the invitation, she had no idea what kind of man Chechnya was accused of being. She simply was interested in going to the concert. She released a statement today, explaining:
