Here's something enticing!!
James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain will star in a clever new double-feature film project — The Disappearence of Eleanor Rigby: His and The Disappearence of Eleanor Rigby: Hers!
With shooting beginning in July, the film project shows the POV of both husband and wife throughout their marriage. FuNN! Kinda like Something Borrowed and Something Blue!
The pre-sales are happening THIS WEEK at Cannes so fingers crossed!!

Which means … more Michael Fassbender! Whoo!
With the majority of the cast signed on for a prequel sequel to the famed X-Men series, all that stood in the way of the movie moving forward was to have an experienced enough director to helm it. Being as Matthew Vaughn directed the first installment, naturally he's been the studio's top choice. Today, they finally locked him down for the job, but since its taken so long to get the official word out, we imagine that means there were some serious negotiations to make this happen. Lots of $$$ thrown around, if you know what we mean.
Still, the deal is done, which we hope means production of the flick will get underway shortly.
Gosh. We just keep thinking about Jennifer Lawrence. The next three years of her life are going to be all about franchises now. Between this and Hunger Games, which still has two more installments to shoot, she is just going to be busy, busy, busy.

Sounds as though they're starting from scratch!
We reported last week that after announcing that she was pregnant with her first child, Hilary Duff had been cut from her role in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, and now, director Tonya Holly has confirmed the news!
She explains:

X-citing! And X-cellent!
X-Men: First Class was the number one movie at the box office weekend, knocking off last week's winner (and box office record-breaker), The Hangover Part II!
The movie made $21 million on Friday and is predicted to make about $50-60 million by the end of the weekend.
That's a solid number, but isn't quite as impressive as the franchise's previous movies, which totaled around $160 million.
Not sure why the movie isn't doing better. It's been getting great reviews, but it seems like this movie hasn't been promoted as well as a comic movie with a legion of fans should have.
Hopefully, word will get out and the movie will grab some bigger numbers.
Meanwhile, here's the weekend's top 5 movies:
1. X-Men: First Class — $21.0 mil
2. The Hangover Part II — $10.5 mil
3. Kung Fu Panda 2 — $6.3 mil
4. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides — $5.1 mil
5. Bridesmaids — $3.6 mil
So…what did U see this weekend?
This is going to get all you guys so stoked!
We've got a whopping seven new clips from X-Men: First Class to share with you today, all of which are, in a word, INTENSE!
We've got January Jones being badass, Kevin Bacon causing trouble and James McAvoy taking our breathe away! (Cue Berlin!)
Check out the first clip of the new class (above) and then venture to the jump to see the rest.
Thoughts? Does it look incredible to U so far?
Okay, so it was ACTUALLY just more of an interview, but it was entertaining nonetheless!
Check out the video (above) of Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, January Jones, and Zoe Kravitz talking about X-Men: First Class while on Today.
The cast seems to have some really great chemistry, which we're thinking will be reflected in their onscreen performances!
Just one more week! Can't wait!!!!
1865 never looked so good!
