From DUIs to wedded bliss!
Jason Wahler may no longer be making the big bucks for making Lauren Conrad cry on The Hills, but he actually seems happy to put his reality TV days behind him.
The bad boy is sober and engaged!
Jason proposed to model Ashley Slack after a bumpy ride in his personal life that involved six alcohol-related arrests and a stint on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab in 2010 which eventually worked for him.
The now-sober Laguna Beach star might be one former reality TV star who has it together.
Color us effing shocked!
At the very least, he's pretty in love as he commented about his bride-to-be:
It doesn't look like Derek Hough needs to worry about Jason Wahler! Lauren Conrad seems to be super smitten with the dancer.
They both went out with another Hollywood couple over the weekend — Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest!
The foursome were seen leaving the Roosevelt Hotel together after Beecher's Madhouse!

He's clean and sober. She's getting more successful by the minute.
But back in the day, not all of that was true — and it ended in their split.
But now, Jason Wahler is saying that he and Lauren are on good terms!
Here's some of what he said:
"Everything's going well now. I actually got all my old friends back, everybody that I was with in the past. I was in a dark place in my life and it was something I had to clear up. It's taken a lot of time and I had a lot of destruction, but it's going well now. I work with the rehab now and I'm actually being of service, giving back. In a way, life is just so much better. I'm excited for the next year. Everything has just been so positive."
We're so glad! We hope you stay on the path of recovery, Jason. It'll be a better life, for sure!

After years of being a big hot mess, Jason Wahler has accomplished one year of sobriety.
With that success under his belt, he decided the time was right to make amends for his pasts deeds.
Ring Ring! What's up Lauren Conrad! It's your ex!
Jason admits he'd been wanting to apologize for quite some time now, but the timing was never right.
Now, however, he wants her to know how sorry he is, and apparently he wants everyone else to know too:

Jason Wahler was recently released from the care of Celebrity Rehab, but it seems he's fallen off the wagon and into keg of Coors Lite. Sources are reporting that as of last week, people have seen much non-improvement in his behavior. He was seen pAArtying at both Boa and Katsuya, while allegedly looking to one of his former Celebrity Rehab buddies for someplace to live!
However, whoever the fellow loser celeb was, they had the smarts to turn him away. They told sources that Jason's behavior was totally "erratic" and that it was "clear his sobriety is no longer important to him."
Oh boy! When will you learn?! No wait, better question - When will you just go away???

And it's going to be pretty good!
This year's has-beens enrolling in VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky include Jason Wahler, Janice Dickinson, Jeremy London, Rachel Uchitel, Leif Garrett, Jason "Gummi Bear" Davis and Frankie Lons, singer Keyshia Cole's mother.
The fourth season is set to air later this year.
We can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans Janice will be up to!

Celebrity Rehab might finally get an actual celebrity who actually needs rehab!
Sources say that the producers of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew are wooing Jennifer Capriati to join their current lackluster Z-list cast and are willing to hand her a hefty paycheck if she agrees to sign.
The tennis star is currently recuperating after an accidental overdose of prescription meds last month.
This would be great news for the show as they've had trouble getting a big name to star along with Tila Tequila, Jason Wahler, and Shauna Sand!
With a cast like that, we don't blame celebs for staying away! But we do hope Jennifer gets the help she needs!
