José Fernández's tragic passing has affected so many people.
The late sports star's longtime love reflected on their time together, writing:

With a Met Gala theme like "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology" one would think Katie Holmes and Jennifer Connelly would spice things up in silhouette — but instead, their coordinated ensembles fell flat. FOR SHAME!!
The Dawson's Creek star went way too dark in both dress, hair, and makeup… And it completely washed her out! Between the floral bottom to the pleats, this was all wrong.
Then, Jennifer decided to pair her busy navy getup with heeled combat boots and a red lip. Waaaaat?!
Can they get a re-do??

These three definitely got some sort of instruction to wear daring red dresses!
Thankfully they delivered at the 6th Biennial UNICEF Ball, because there's not much we love more than gorgeous women in a bold crimson hue.
Selenita even took it all a step further and wore LEATHER Louis Vuitton with a plunging neckline and quatrefoil laser-cut details along the skirt.
We just wish there wasn't that unnecessary ruffling around her neck. It's too distracting!
Michelle and Jennifer both rocked thigh-high slits, but M.Rod also exposed plenty of breast bone with her deep V-neck Gabriela Cadena number, while Jen opted for some sexy shoulder action in her sparkly Louis Vuitton.
Who's your fave???

A lot of stars shined at the Met Gala, but others just missed the mark.
Sorry, ladies, but it's true.
Jennifer Connelly donned a lace Louis Vuitton sheath dress on this year's red carpet.
While we appreciate the effort, that leg-of-mutton sleeve made the ensemble look far too big for her tiny frame. And as if that wasn't enough, her hands were practically swallowed up in that dress.
The Blood Diamond actress ended up looking like a little girl trying on mommy's clothes.
And poor Maggie!
She tried in that floor-length Roland Mouret number, we just aren't exactly sure what it was she was trying for.
From the different-sized straps, to the world's weirdest waist accent, we have no other word's to describe Maggie's red carpet outfit than a
But Jake Gyllenhaal's big sis did succeed at something: reminding us why wearing black and brown together was a fashion faux pas to begin with!

There was clearly a "colorful mini dress" memo passed around prior to the Louis Vuitton Series 2 Exhibition!
Though perhaps style similarities couldn't be helped because Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere most likely had a say in what the three women wore.
But anyway, they all certainly stood out in their respective print frocks, even if we do wish that Dianna had skipped the black tights and gone bare-legged.
It's been too long!
But first, the actress attended the photo call for her upcoming film, Aloft, dressed in a patterned red blouse, leather A-line skirt, and chic Louis Vuitton booties.
She truly chiced out!
And later that day, Jennifer was happily posing for the photogs on the black carpet!
She rocked a patterned frock with a leather trim from Louis Vuitton's pre-fall 2015 collection, which isn't even available yet!
Guess being the label's spokeswoman has its perks!
We love this classic designer garb!!
Michelle looked adorable in a black and blue patterned top, paired with a high-waisted skirt, featuring stripes and a bright applique design! She finished the show ensem with strap pumps, messy but polished locks and simple makeup!
Jennifer donned a rather boring black pants suit with red stitch detailing and a patent leather belt. The actress completed the outfit with pointy pumps, a small clutch and simple hair.
Miz Williams totally nailed it!
Better luck next time, JC!

She’s got that razzle-dazzle, baby!
She rocked another Louis Vuitton ensem, this time wearing a flashy black and white dress featuring all sorts of sparkle on the front. Miz Connelly further cinched in her waist with a black belt, matching the accent with black leather LV pumps.
But we especially love her handbag of choice: a LV box clutch that looks like a miniature treasure chest! So fab, right??
While this outfit doesn't top her dramatic floor-length gown from London, she definitely got the Parisian-chic thing down!!
