Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany met on the set of A Beautiful Mind nearly 15 years ago and the rest is history! The pair recalled their instant connection in an interview with ET Online — and it totally renewed our hope in true love!
The 44-year-old actress shared:
“I remember meeting him at the first read through. I thought, ‘Hmm, he’s really good that guy.'”
Meanwhile, Bettany was distracted with Connelly’s intimidating beauty:
“I’ve never been this close to someone that beautiful before. I remember thinking, ‘I bet every man you ever met has tried to flirt with you.'”

The lovebirds wed in 2003 and have two kids together Stellan, 12, and Agnes Lark, 4 — and Connelly’s 18-year-old son Kai from a previous marriage.
What about Bettany sealed the deal for Miz Connelly?
“He started playing guitar and it was all over.”
He’s not just a talented actor and musician, Bettany is also making his directorial debut in his film Shelter released Friday — which stars his love Connelly as a drug-addicted woman on the streets of NYC.
Working together wasn’t a problem:
“I feel very creatively aligned with him. We are drawn to similar types of films and filmmaking. I felt I had a lot of freedom to explore. Because he’s my husband and I trust him so much, I felt very safe.”
We’ve said it before, but we actually mean it this time… #relationshipgoals!!
