Oh, she's just bein' Miley!

Miley Cyrus had an '80s-themed 17th birthday bash in New York at the Canal Room on Thursday night and the Disney star dressed up as Julia Roberts' character in Pretty Woman - Vivian Ward, the hooker with the heart of gold!

We wonder which outfit she chose?

Who wants to bet it's the one from the beginning with blonde wig and thigh-high boots filled with condoms!?

Miley's mama Tish arranged for Constantine Maroulis and the rest of the cast from Rock of Ages to perform at the party.

A source reveals:

"Miley had seen the show two weeks ago and loved it, so her mom Tish brought the cast in to surprise her. But I'm not sure who was more into Constantine — Miley or her mother. Between songs from the musical, Miley grabbed Constantine and danced with him at the front of the stage and then Tish joined in."

Sounds like quite the hootenanny!

And we hate to break it to you, Miles, but Pretty Woman is from 1990!

Wow! Drama!

Following a severe heart attack last month, Julia Roberts' 75-year-old mom Betty was re-admitted to an Atlanta hospital for an emergency angioplasty procedure. She is thankfully in recovery now and we hope she stays that way.

But what is so troublesome for us is at the time of the procedure, Julia was in India shooting her latest film. Due to the spotty cell phone coverage in the area and the super heavy security to filter through, it took the Roberts family almost two days to finally contact Julia and let her know what happened. And she wasn't happy about it. An insider revealed:

"Julia was relieved to hear that her mother had undergone surgery and was recovering. But when she found out it took a day and a half for her family to get through her intense security, she absolutely exploded…Initially, Julia freaked out and began crying. Ultimately, she grew enraged when she found out how long it took her to get the news…Julia railed at them (movie crew), 'When your own family can't get through to you, that's too much security! My mum could have been dead, and I might have been the last one in the world to know about it.' Julia said she'd rather have no security at all than go through an episode like that again… She only calmed down when she talked to her mother herself, and was sure that she was out of the woods."

We're happy to hear that Betty was able to pull through and that Julia finally got the chance to talk to her. But seriously, no one needs that much security that their own mother isn't able to contact them! That's just absurd!

Julia Roberts is currently filming Eat, Pray, Love in Pataudi, India, and the residents are none too happy with her supposed behavior.

Apparently, Roberts has 350 security guards protecting her and the filming, preventing villagers from entering their Hindu temple where the movie is being shot during "the holiest time of the year."

In addition to the security guards, Julia also has a bulletproof car to transport herself and her 3 children.

Diva!

But in all honesty, it's probably the film itself hiring all of the security and not Julia personally.

That's Hollywood for ya, India!

P.S. Better safe than sorry, though.

Since when does Julia Roberts get turned down for roles?

Since…Now!

Originally, it was Julia Roberts that Disney wanted for the flick The Proposal. However, Julia refused to lower her salary, so the studio was forced to let her go in favor of another star, Sandra Bullock, according to Us Weekly.

It's a tough break for Julia, considering we can't remember the last good movie she was in and The Proposal raked in a whooping $151 million at the box office!

Perhaps it's time to lower your prices Julia, otherwise more people are gonna stop buying what you're selling! Think about it!

Julia Roberts was snapped in New York on the set of her latest flick, Eat, Pray, Love on Monday.

And the 41-year-old was looking good!

Wonder if she's still got the magic touch of producing blockbuster films though.

We'll have to wait to find out.

But it's nice to see her working again.

What's New Line got in store for Valentine's Day?

Apparently some "romantic comedy" movie mixed with A-Listers and Z-Listers.

The flick is being directed by Garry Marshall and will feature five "slightly interconnecting stories" that will play out during Valentine's Day.

As for the cast, it will likely include celebs Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, and Jennifer Garner. Also said to be in the final negotiations to star in the flick are Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Alba, and Jessica Biel.

Looks like an odd mix to us.

As for producing the movie, that will be Mike Karz along with Wayne Rice.

The movie currently has a $30 million budget range, though if Roberts is gonna star in the flick, you know that budget isn't including salary.

If you'd like to read more about the plot, check it out below. The movie will apparently deal with the following story lines:

"- Roberts is an army officer on leave from Iraq on a flight to L.A. Cooper, on the same flight, is a gay man whose lover is a closeted football player.

- Kutcher is an owner of a flower shop who proposes to his girlfriend (Alba), only to realize he is in love with his close friend, played by Garner, who discovers her boyfriend is married.

- Shirley MacLaine plays Roberts' mother, a happy retiree who reveals to her husband a long-ago affair.

- Hathaway is an assistant working at the biggest talent agency in town and dating a mailroom assistant; Biel is a publicist unlucky in love (is there any other kind?) who has no date on Valentine's Day.

Major roles still to be cast are the gay football player, MacLaine's husband, the mailroom worker, a talent agent and a young boy looking to give his crush some flowers."

Is it over for Julia Roberts? The America's former "sweetheart" stars in the new film, Duplicity, which helped test where exactly Roberts stands with the public.

It seems they feel lukewarm about her, as the film opened third over the weekend to a mild $14.4 million.

The bromantic comedy I Love You, Man opened second with $18 million, while Nicholas Cage unexpectedly seized first place with $24.8 million with Knowing.

Maybe it's time for a DUI!

We could have another actor turned governor on our hands, America!

20-year New Mexico resident, Val Kilmer, has revealed that he might be up for a run at the state's governor's office in 2010.

"I'm just looking for ways to be contributive," says Val. "And if that ends up being where I can make a substantial contribution, then I'll run."

He also said that if he did run, he'd WIN!

So confident!

The actor admits to voting for Obama and appears to be inspired by the new President as well.

Kilmer said if he ran it wouldn't have to be a conventional campaign.

And, while he's mulling over throwing his hat into the race, Val's getting out and listening to the peeps in the state.

"What I do for a living is listen," said Val.

We wonder if fellow actor/New Mexico resident, Julia Roberts, will campaign for Kilmer?
