Julianne Hough started out as a dancer on Dancing With The Stars before seguing into the film world, but that doesn't mean she's not still learning, as she was spotted in Studio City leaving an acting studio!

Another DWTS dancer is making the transition into acting.

Following in her co-star Julianne Hough's footsteps, the latest mirrorball trophy winner, Karina Smirnoff, has just lined up a guest appearance on the new ABC comedy, Apartment 23, which will air midseason 2012.

She'll be playing herself in one episode, alongside cast members James van der Beek and Dean Cain.

Sooo, we're assuming there's some sort of ballroom dancing scene??

Speaking about working on the show, Karina says:

"I had a blast with the show's amazing team and great writers with a larger than life sense of humor! I think both James and Dean would be awesome on DWTS!"

Now THAT is something we'd like to see! We'd love to see Dawson's dancing chops.
