On Saturday afternoon, Katherine Heigl hosted a baby shower at her Los Feliz home for Ellen Pompeo.

The mom-to-be, who looks ready to pop any day now, was joined by 25 of her closest friends, including fellow Grey's Anatomy castmates, Kate Walsh and Sandra Oh.

Not letting the scorching L.A. temperatures over the weekend bring the party down, the shower was held outside complete with umbrellas to provide shade for the guests.

With pink flower arrangements and gift wrap, it's no secret that Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, are scheduled to welcome a baby girl in October.

We have to say that was a pretty nice gesture coming from Heigl. Who knew she actually had friends on the show which works her SO hard 17 hours a day?

ABC's entertainment head was none too pleased by Katherine Heigl's incessant whining on Late Night with David Letterman a few weeks ago.

In case this gem managed to fly under your radar, Heigl whined to Letterman about the long hours on the Grey's Anatomy set, among other things.

Said Katherine to Letterman: "Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I’m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day, which I think is cruel and mean."

Letterman responded, saying, "I’m guessing if you’re working 17 hours, that means you’re not dead."

And Heigl's reply?

"What if, however, Dave, I was in a bed in a coma for 17 hours. They could do that to me."

ABC's head of entertainment, Steve McPherson, was not amused. He even called Katherine's bitching "unfortunate"!

Ha!

Said McPherson:

"People are going to behave in the way they choose to behave. There are so many people who work so hard on 'Grey's,' and all of our shows, without any notoriety and those are the ones I'd be concerned about, people who feel like they're being criticized or looked down upon."

Well said, sir!

Josh Duhamel is currently in talks to take a role in the next Katherine Heigl flick, Life as We Know It.

The story follows "two unattached adults whose worlds are turned upside down when their mutual best friends die in an accident and name them as caregivers of their orphaned daughter."

Katherine is also attached as the executive producer of the movie, so no worries there, Fergie, she'll be too busy to make a play for Josh, or as we like to call it:

While in London promoting their horrendous romantic comedy, Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl were greeted by some fans and paps outside their hotel.

Katherine ended up jetting right back inside to escape the crowd, but Gerard seems to have had a blast hanging out with his admirer.

Bet that made the next five years of her life.

Shame on you Katherine!

We mentioned previously how pissed both Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen are with Katherine Heigl. Basically, like a snooty bitch, she slammed the movie that pretty much started her film career - Knocked Up - by calling it "sexist", amongst other things.

Judd had mentioned that he would have given her the benefit of the doubt, had she apologized for what she said. Well, she's finally done it Judd. She has an apology all set up in her interview with this coming month's edition of UK Marie Claire. We should warn you, though, it's rather half-ass.

When asked if she would take anything back in her career, Katherine replied:

"If I was to say I wish I'd never made that comment about Knocked Up [being sexist], it's not that I don't feel the way I do about it, it's just that it maybe didn't need to be communicated via a magazine interview."

Told ya.

Do with that what you will.

We should also mention that Katherine concedes that she has a "terrible mouth" and that while her opinionated nature isn't going to change anytime soon, she would like to know that despite it, everyone will still "love" her.

No such luck their Heigl. It's not so much what you say, but who you say it about, and this notorious need to bite at the hand that feeds you (Judd, Shonda Rhimes, etc.) is just going to land you in obscurity.

Take our friendly advice: Stop being a bitch.

She seems incapable of shutting her damn mouth!

On her visit to the Late Show with David Letterman recently, Katherine Heigl continued to spark controversy when she publicly burned Grey's Anatomy for their long work days.

"Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I'm going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day which I think is cruel and mean," said the ungrateful wacktress.

It turns out the the long day was to accommodate Heigl so she could go off and promote her film The Ugly Truth.

She must really want off that show!

Heigl has not commented on the cause of the extended work day, but rumors continue of her diva behavior on the set of her new film Five Killers.

Supposedly, she is making excessive requests including traveling only on private plane and unnecessarily beefing up security.

Security?! No one wants to get near you, kitten!

Finally, someone said it!!

While visiting Howard Stern on Thursday, Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow addressed Katherine Heigl's infamous remark about how the movie that made her movie star-level famous, Knocked Up, "paints the women as shrews" while the men look "lovable" - in her words.

In order to discredit the bitch, Rogen brought up the feminist undertones in her new film The Ugly Truth.

"That [movie] looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way," he joked.

Apatow added, "I hear there's a scene where she's wearing … Underwear …with a vibrator in it, so I'd have to see if that was uplifting for women."

The Funny People director tried to give Heigl the benefit of the doubt regarding her negative remarks stating, she "probably was doing six hours of interviews and kissing everyone's ass, and then just got tired and slipped a little bit."

"I didn't slip and I was doing fucking interviews all day too … I didn’t say shit!," a frustrated Rogen responded.

"[You think] at some point I'll get a call saying 'Sorry, I was tired…' and then the call never comes,'" Apatow said regarding the aftermath of the bridge burner's statements.

"I gotta say it's not like we're the only people she said some batdhit crazy things about," said Rogen. "That's kind of her bag now."

True dat!

Katherine needs to get off her high horse and learn that once you agree to do a film, you get behind it 100%!

It's called professionalism!
