Kiefer Sutherland Talks Charlie Sheen

Very sweet words, Kiefer! We're impressed.

Check out the video (above) of Charlie Sheen's Young Guns co-star Kiefer Sutherland opening up about Charlie's current issues.

We liked a lot of what Kiefer had to say here, although as we've mentioned MANY times before, we'd also emphasize the fact that Charlie REALLY needs to seek help.

…And do you seriously not own a computer, Kiefer? Not gonna lie - there's something pret-ty bizarre to us about Jack Bauer not owning a computer.

Just sayin'!

24 Movie Will Hit Theaters Next Year!

24 movie coming out in 2012

Back in January, Jack Bauer fans got the exciting news that the 24 movie would start shooting sometime around September 2011.

Now, we've learned that the 24 movie will hit theaters in 2012…and that comes directly from Kiefer Sutherland's mouth himself!

Sutherland broke the news during a recent appearance on The View.

We kind of assumed it would come out in 2012, but updates are always good..especially when it's a movie that's been anticipated for such a long time!

And yes, we'd love to hear an update like this for the Arrested Development movie. Come on!

Are U pumped for the 24 movie to be released next year?

Kiefer Sutherland Wants To Return To TV!

Filed under: TV News > Kiefer Sutherland

kiefer might return to tv

Kiefer, it doesn't matter what show you do, we are going to always and forever pretend that the new characters you play are just under-cover jobs for Jack Bauer.

That's all there is to it!

Also, we're relatively sure this Kiefer Sutherland guy you are in real life is also just a cover. LOLz!

So, it looks like K-Suth wants to return to TV and is checking out a Fox pilot from the creator of Heroes.

The pilot is called Touch, and this is what it's about:

Touch centers on a father (the role Sutherland has been offered) who discovers that his autistic, mute son can predict events before they happen.

Sounds pretty awesome! We'll watch, but we'll DEF watch if you get the amazing Chloe O'Brian Mary Lynn Rajskub to be in it too!

Good luck, bb! We'd love to have you back on TV!!

Will U watch this??

Kiefer Talks 24 Movie!

kiefer-sutherland-talks-24.jpg

Jack Bauer fans, rejoice! It's all happening!

Kiefer Sutherland insists that the 24 movie will start shooting in 8 months, but getting the project started was no easy task.

He said:

"It's a very difficult thing to take something you've done for eight years, almost two hundred episodes, and try to find a story that's going to be unique and yet service the history of the show as well."

Can't wait!

This Is QUITE The Cast!

that-championship-season-begins-broadway-run

We can't believed they snagged such an A-list cast for this!

We want to see it for them alone!

Jason Miller's play That Championship Season is prepping its new run on Broadway, and its cast - comprised of Jim Gaffigan, Chris Noth, Brian Cox, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jason Patric - were all on hand last night at Sardi's restaurant in NYC (above and below) for a photocall!

This is horribly dorky, but we're just excited that Kiefer and Jason are working together again!

It's like a miniature Lost Boys reunion!

LOLz! Yes and YES!

Kiefer Sutherland Goes From TV To…

The internet!!!!

After 24 ended, Kiefer Sutherland has not been back on the small screen - and now the screen is even smaller!

The actor will appear in The Confession, 10 five-to-seven-minute webisodes that will appear on Hulu in March. Sutherland will play a hitman who has a theological discussion with a priest (John Hurt) about why his victims deserved to die.

Kiefer said:

“It came about in such a different way. I was meeting a couple friends of mine, who wanted to introduce me to Chris Young (of Digital Broadcasting Group). I know so little about the internet, but that’s what a lot of friends do for work. Most of that stuff being produced for the internet is comedy, very much like Jackass kind of material, which is great but didn’t appeal to me.

Chris started talking about wanting to do a drama, but his criteria was so different. A drama in five-minute episodes! It was one of those things, like a puzzle over the course of the lunch. It can’t be that complicated to figure out a story in five minutes, right? I couldn’t, and it frustrated the crap out of me. So I went home that night, still thinking about it, and it stayed with me for three days. I was falling asleep when I literally got this idea of a confessional."

The show was filmed over nine days in NYC in December right before rehearsals for Broadway’s That Championship Season.

“In all fairness, it looks fantastic,” said Sutherland of the web series, which he is exec producing. ”We shot it in the fifth-largest snow storm. It was pretty amazing.”

He added:

“We called on a lot of favors. A dollar is a dollar. It gets you what you get. There’s no way around that, so you’re phoning dear friends for favors. None of us were paid what we normally get paid. Everybody found their own challenge in it, and that was the reason to do it. All of us believe very strongly that the internet is the future, the largest network in world, with the ability to reach a big audience.

We have a couple ideas we are working on that we are very excited about. 24 was a lot of work, it certainly had its ups and downs. But for so many reasons, it was one of the great experiences of my life. I miss the daily grind of it, which I was surprised about because that’s the one thing you complain about all the time. Be careful what you ask for!”

Chris Young, CEO of Digital Broadcasting Group, stated:

“The Confession sets a precedent for what is possible in original webisodic content. Never before has something of this magnitude and motion picture quality come to the third screen. I’m thrilled to be working with such A-list talent and top-tier sponsors to finally capture and crystallize the seismic shift in how content of this caliber is released, distributed and enjoyed by an audience that will rival that of a hit television series.”

Amazing! Can't wait to see it.
