This is so sad.
Brooke McCarter, best known for his role in The Lost Boys, died on Tuesday at the age of 52.
According to an announcement from his family, the actor suffered from a genetic liver condition. They shared the news on Facebook, saying:
“Brooke was our loving son, brother, father, cousin, nephew and friend.”
McCarter played Kiefer Sutherland‘s vampire blood brother Paul in the Joel Schumacher ├óΓé¼╦£80s cult classic, also appearing in TV shows like The Twilight Zone, Route 66, and the 1989 film Wired — a biopic about comedian John Belushi.

Corey Feldman said he was “very sad” upon hearing the news of his Lost Boys costar’s passing, sharing on Twitter:

According to his website, McCarter left the entertainment industry in 1998 to pursue a career in telecommunications.
