What do you do when that stupid thing you said gets circulated all over the Internet?
Release a (sort of) apology statement!
Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries' remarks about not wanting overweight people to wear his company's clothes have gone viral, and prompted a young man to rebrand the retailer by donating thrifted Abercrombie duds to homeless people.
Even Kirstie Alley spoke up about it!
Naturally, the PR firm that represents the brand had to come up with an attempt at damage control –and here it is!
Abercrombie & Fitch just lost three more customers!
Kirstie Alley is giving CEO Mike Jeffries a piece of her mind after hearing he doesn't want fat people wearing A&F's clothes.
The actress said:
"Abercrombie clothes are for people who are cool and look a certain way and are beautiful and are thin' and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That would make me never buy anything from Abercrombie… I’ve got two kids in that bracket, but they will never walk in those doors because of his view of people — forget women, his view of just people."
You go, girl!
We're sure your 18 and 20-year-old's money will be better spent at inclusive retailers anyway!

She did it!
Kirstie Alley can finally say she's walked at New York Fashion Week.
As we said before, the Dancing with the Stars alum would be walking at designer Zang Toi's fashion show and on Tuesday she did!
Kirstie walked down the runway in a beautiful navy blue gown with crystal embellishments that was made for the red carpet.

Kirstie Alley is set to make her modeling debut during New York Fashion Week..
The 60 year old will strut down the catwalk at designer and longtime friend Zang Toi's show on Tuesday afternoon.
Kirstie gushed to Entertainment Tonight:
"I've known Zang since 1993. I did the cover of Redbook and I wanted something really beautiful … he just has the most beautiful clothes, period."
She also insists she'll be acting like Kirstie the "model" and not Kirstie the "diva", explaining:
"Models sort of more do what the designer wants them to do and actresses are sort of divas. So I'm going to have to be a model this week."
Good luck, 'bb!

Kirstie Alley has lost an amazing 90lbs which means the now slim 60-year-old needs a new wardrobe, and for her that means spending $25,000!
An insider reveals:
“Kirstie's turned into a major clothes horse. While in NYC this summer, she's been hitting the high-end stores.”
And she has a favorite store, Barneys, spending over $10k there alone, another $10k on accessories, and then a few more thousands on Christian Louboutin shoes.
A source adds:
“Kirstie hasn't blinked an eye at cost. She hasn't shopped for designer clothes in years. She used to shop at Target for kaftans that could hide her body.
She feels liberated. Plus, she claims work offers are pouring in, so she's not worried about breaking the bank for her new look.”
We hope the work offers do come in. No point in spending all that money on clothes if you aren't making money to cover the costs.
