The dentist, who infamously shot Cecil the Lion last month in Zimbabwe, has been out of the public eye ever since worldwide condemnation across the Internet and elsewhere pointed at him for his questionable hunting practices.

Now though, River Bluff Dental, the practice Palmer operates with another dentist and a staff of employees and assistants, has reopened — and staff has made a statement about their work:

Maybe Dr. Walter Palmer is just as bad as we all think.

He claimed ignorance over the legality of hunting and killing Cecil the Lion, but it's tough to give him the benefit of the doubt when new information like this keeps coming to light!

On Friday morning, it was revealed that Palmer took place in a hunt several years ago in Wisconsin that illegally took the life of a black bear.

Apparently, Palmer had a permit to hunt a black bear in a specific county in Wisconsin — only he ended up shooting and killing the animal more than 40 miles away in another county.

And when his hunting guides called him on it, Palmer attempted to buy them off, offering $20,000 to lie and say the bear was shot in a legal area. The guides didn't buy it, and they turned him in to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, who promptly handed down a fine and felony probation to the dentist.

And now, we've got the pictures of Palmer's illegal bear hunt. Check out the disturbing pics (below) but be warned — they are graphic:

This is BEYOND perfect!

By now, most everyone has heard about the heinous act of killing Cecil the Lion and we've even seen a range of celebrity reactions, whether it's getting choked up like Jimmy Kimmel or outraged liked Betty White!

But Aaron Blaise, a Disney animator on the film The Lion King and a massive animal lover himself, was just as disgusted! However, he decided to take his frustration and use it to pay tribute to Cecil by creating a BEAUTIFUL image that reminds us of one of the more memorable moments of Disney feature films.

Blaise wrote of the the tragic event and his feelings on the matter:

"I am a HUGE animal lover an it drives me crazy when I see these beautiful creatures destroyed for no good reason. When I heard the news about Cecil I got inspired to create a tribute image. It's not much but hopefully it will make people think."

Ch-ch-check out the image (below) in a time-lapse video of Blaise creating the gorgeous image!
