With all the recent press surrounding the unfortunate death of John Travolta's son, Jett, Scientologists are now speaking out about the incident.

And by "Scientologists" we mean Lisa Marie Presley. Tom Cruise has wisely remained mum on the tragedy, at least publicly.

Presley took to her MySpace Celebrity blog and this is what she has to say:

Now Is Not The Time.

I wished I could be writing you under happier circumstances but I cannot because Two of my very good friends, (John and Kelly Travolta ) the sweetest people in the world have just encountered the worst possible tragedy a parent could be forced to endure, the death of their son Jett.

My heart is crying and bleeding for them.

I personally would not have it in me to bury my own child.

I am writing this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and or attack Scientology?

Folks, as popular as it has been to discriminate and ridicule Scientology and Scientologist's in the recent past , Now is NOT the time.

I realize that there is a lot of mis information out there about the subject which has caused a lot of stone throwing but we are not still in the dark ages and it is still an Unconstitutional Injustice to partake in and encourage such condemnation.

Among most of the crazy made up garbage that goes around about it , It is not true that Scientologist's "Don't believe in " medical care , medicine or medical Doctors and that may have something to do with this terrible tragedy.

Just like anyone else, If one is sick , they go to the doctor, If a medication will make it better then they take it.

If they don't then they are an idiot and you can't blame their religion.

Whatever medical and or physical condition Jett had , I can tell you first hand that his parents were on a tireless, never ending quest to get and provide him with the absolute best care anyone could ever ask for and need, Medically, physically, emotionally, medicinally and spiritually.

I am not writing this to preach my beliefs, I am here to protect my friends.

To the few of you out there that this may apply to,

Let's not use the tragic death of a child to facilitate your insatiable need to attack and destroy Scientology shall we?

John and Kelly have done nothing but spend their lives and their time helping others, making people happy and making peoples lives better.

Please let this family grieve in peace.

As we mentioned earlier, Lisa Marie Presley gave birth late last week.

The 40 year-old daughter of rock legend Elvis Presley had twin girls.

Now, Lisa and her hubby, Michael Jackson Lockwood, are disclosing the names of their kiddies.

The girls arrived via C-section and weighed in at only 5 lbs., 15oz. and 5 lbs., 2 oz.

And, coming from Lisa Marie, do you think she'd name the kids something like Lisa or more like Apple?

There are TWO new rock n' roll princesses!

The King's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, gave birth to twin girls on Friday.

The 40-year-old new momma delivered her daughters at the Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Her husband, musician Michael Lockwood, was by her side "the whole time."

The twinsies' older sibs, model Riley, 21, and Ben, 16 were spotted at the hospital too.

The power of Xenu!

We hope this isn't true, but…..

Star magazine is reporting that Pink has turned to Scientology!

The singer supposedly sought comfort in the "religion" following her split from ex-husband Carey Hart.

Her pal, fellow rocker Juliette Lewis, is said to have introduced her to Scientology.

Pink's attendance at Scientologist Lisa Marie Presley's baby shower last month is making sense now! In fact, she hosted the party!!!

A source tells the rag, "Pink is in the beginning stages of checking out the religion, but she has taken to it and she wants to get more involved."

Expect a Pink/Tom Cruise sighting very soon!

Seems like Priscilla Presley has some major issues with aging.

Duh!

Elvis's ex recently revealed that she doesn't like being called 'grandma':

"We don't say grandma, we say 'Nona' — it means 'Grandma' in Italian. There's just such a connotation with Grandma and I just liked it better. [Lisa Marie's children] say it so sweet: 'Nona.'"

Lady, you can continue to hack up your face, give yourself fancy names, but the fact is…you're old!

Lisa Marie Presley is suing mad!

Elvis' daughter is planning to take several publications to court…for calling her fat.

Not just calling her fat, though, but for making claims that she had an “unhealthy appetite” and is “growing like her dad.”

Such allegations have left the star “deeply upset and offended," says her lawyer.

Speaking to the Associated Press, Lisa Marie’s spokeswoman, Cindy Guagenti, said some of the stories had gone too far.

“It’s like, ’she’s gonna die like her father’, ‘her and her mom are in a fight because of her weight’ - that’s not true at all. It’s just awful stuff,” she said.

Geesh. Suing is going a bit far, don't ya think????
