There's good news and there's bad news.

The good news?

The Spice Girls are adding more concerts in America, PerezHilton.com can exclusively reveal.

The bad news?

No word on whether or not they will be adding shows elsewhere.

Happy 2008 Spice fans!

The lovely and talented Melanie C. just posted the following message on the official Spice Girls blog.

She says:

"Woo hoo!! 2008, Happy New Year everybody, it's going to be a good one.

Myself and all the Spiceys had a great Christmas. We caught up with our families, ate lots of mince pies and got some well-needed sleep!

We got together for a New Year’s Eve dinner at Gordon Ramsay's fabulous restaurant in Claridges. We got dressed up and had a great night. It was really lovely to see in the New Year with all the girls. We celebrated all the fun times from 2007 and raised a glass (or seven) to the ones to come and to the people who make them possible… especially you guys. THANK YOU!

Although we all really needed some rest we couldn't wait to get back on stage. The first show back was quite scary after not performing for a few days, but it was a blinder! In fact, the show has got even more exciting, we are having a ball and our audiences seem to be getting better and better.

It's lovely to be at home, even though it's freezing! I'm really looking forward to the show on the 12th because it's my birthday and I've never performed on my birthday before and I can't think of a better way to spend the evening. We're of to Manchester in a couple of weeks and we're really excited to take the show up north… so it's happy days in Spiceworld.

Hope you're all well and are avoiding that miserable flu. See you soon.

Lots of love…aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Geri In Tears!

Click here for a sneak peek at the delicious new Spice Girls documentary, Giving You Everything.

An emotional Geri breaks down in tears. A blunt Melanie C. says "she could have really fucked things up for us" of Halliwell's departure. And the other ladies are about as raw and candid as we've ever seen them.

A must-watch!

Sporty & Pudgy

aimg_0610.jpg

Thursday night, we had the pleasure of going to Melanie C.'s acoustic show at The Mint in Los Angeles. And, the Spice Girl known as Sporty was kind enough to invite Perezzz to her sound check.

We met Melanie (for the first time) and she was a delight!

She was the last Spice Girl to want to jump on board the reunion bandwagon, but she told us that she is having a blast.

And we love the fact that she performed to almost 20,000 at the Staples Center on Wednesday and the following evening she performed to less than 200.

She's doing it for all the right reasons. Melanie C. loves music and is in this game for the long haul.

We can't express how much we love her solo stuff. It is smart, sophisticated, beautiful, touching, brilliant pop. You all should check it out.

Click here to check out some of her solo songs.

Mel told us that she hopes to do more solo gigs in America, a country she rarely tours in. It's quite convenient for her - her band from the U.K. is part of the Spice Girls band.

If you weren't able to go to the show at The Mint, then CLICK HERE to watch Melanie C's exquisite acoustic rendition of her internationally adored smash hit I Turn To You.

Girl power!!!
