Looks like rehab did some good to Melanie Griffith.

As we mentioned a few months ago, Griffith was admitted to rehab for "drug addiction."

Melanie was hooked on pain meds, which were a result of three knee operations after a ski accident.

The 52-year-old was spotted yesterday leaving Beverly Hills restaurant Mr. Chow's. And, surprisingly, she was looking pretty good!

We hope rehab she's able to stay sober this time!

Remember when we reported Melanie Griffith had checked back into rehab?

Now we know why!

Pain meds, which were a result of three knee operations after a ski accident.

Unfortunately for Melanie, after 6 years of living the clean and sober life, the drugs caused her to relapse and enter the revolving door known as rehab.

But she wasn't forced! In fact, it was Melanie's idea to go back.

Husband and heartthrob Antonio Banderas told Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday that "In March, she came to me and said, 'I'm feeling a little bit weak in my determination for this … so I just thought to go to rehabilitation by myself.' ".

Luckily for her, she has the full support of her family. Banderas went on to say "…the whole entire family is supporting her, and I am supporting her, and at this particular time more than ever. I'm very proud of her."

Hopefully after this she'll stay on the clean and sober path!

Hope she had her room on hold!

Melanie Griffith's rep has officially announced that the irrelevant actress has checked herself back into rehab.

However, they're making it sound more like a spa weekend rather than a desperate attempt to get attention a way to get help.

"She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy," says her publicist. "This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago."

Yes, because years ago, she also had a drug and alcohol problem. Someone keeps letting her out before she can fully recover!

While her rep is playing the "health" angle, we're hearing another tune from insiders close to Melanie and her husband Antonio Banderas. According to them, this stunt was forced upon her in order to save her marriage. The insider revealed: "The reason Melanie checked in was her husband was demanding that she get clean and sober. He told her that if she didn't get the help she needed it would be the end of their marriage."

Threats tend to work with junkies. But no worries Antonio: the 15 minutes she'll garner from this will get her back on her feet in no time!

Melanie Griffith is embracing her hubby Antonio Bandera's culture.

La Melania was spotted in Bandera's native Spain celebrating Easter Sunday this past weekend. And she really got all into it!

Griffith and her youngest daughter, Stella, were celebrating the holiday along with Antonio's mother, Ana Banderas.

They were seen watching the Easter Parade, the “Procesiones de Semana Santa”, in Malaga. And Griffith decided to sport the traditional Spanish attire for the ladies who attend church, a mantilla.

We have yet to find out what Banderas sees in her!

Exhibit A: Pamela Anderson, once a Baywatch babe, now a pathetic caricature of herself, desperately clinging to her youth with age-inappropriate acts of famewhoring!

There she was on Wednesday (above), snapped at the infamous Ivy with some dude.

Exhibit B: Sharon Stone and Melanie Griffith order the Celebrity Special at Joan's on Third: The Salad and Cigarette (often served with a cup of coffee). The visibility of sidewalk seating would make any A-list cringe, but when you've dropped to the Z-list, you're just hoping that someone notices! And you say your prays to God that the paparazzi you tipped off actually do show up!

We have some other strategies that they might want to employ: rehab, gain weight/lose weight, vajayjay flash, humanitarian efforts, going bald, Dancing with the Stars, adopting 6 third world babies, or hell, all at once!

Dakota Johnson shares a cigarette with her recovering addict mother, Melanie Griffith!

The stars in LA like some snow for the holidays so the Banderas/Griffith/Johnson clan have headed to Aspen, like Heidi & Seal and Mimoo too.

Dakota and mom enjoyed a day of shopping and smoking.

Antonio Banderas and la gringa arrived in Chile this week.

The couple are on a humanitarian mission with UNICEF in South America, and they hit up Brazil this past weekend.

Somebody's got an oily little problem!

Melanie Griffith looked less than movie star glamorous as she arrived at the airport in Malaga this past weekend.

The actress is in the Spanish resort town to meet up with hubby Antonio Banderas and spend some time in his native land of Spain for the holidays.

She may not look all that, but it could be worse. Melanie could look LIKE THIS!
