Kerry Washington Gets Banged & Bobbed Like Rei Kawakubo For The Met Gala

Met Gala 2017: Kerry Washington walks the red carpet.

Patchwork doesn't always work!

And it sure didn't in this case!

Kerry Washington wore the hell out of her custom Michael Kors creation at the Met Gala, but it didn't quite hit the spot.

It's just not very pretty to look at, is it? There's just something off and we can't quite put our finger on it.

Her banged bob, a tribute to Rei Kawakubo's iconic hairdo, was well done, though — thanks to her hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew and Remington iron!

Mandy Moore Looks Like A Goth Girl At Prom Rather Than An A-Lister On The Met Gala Red Carpet — Sorry!

Not a fan.

On Monday evening, Mandy Moore popped up on the Met Gala red carpet and we can't say we're loving her look. While we respect the This Is Us actress' attempt at dressing for the avant-garde theme, we didn't enjoy the black Michael Kors gown she wore.

Although the industry vet's stylist Erica Cloud defended that the ensemble was meant to be an ode to Rei Kawakubo (the Japanese designer who inspired this year's event), the A Walk To Remember alum still seemed to miss the mark at the fashion forward bash. Not only is black waaaaay to safe of a choice, but it also made Mandy look pale AF.

Hopefully, Moore does better next year. Fingers crossed!

Ivanka and Melania dress up for Congress.

Ivanka "Daddy's Girl" Trump and Melania "I Only Wanted A Sugar Daddy" Trump attended Donald "Pumpkinhead" Trump's first joint address to Congress Tuesday.

They looked nice!

Ivanka bucked her father's "buy American" command and wore French designer Roland Mouret, choosing an off-shoulder, merlot dress featuring a subtle peplum accent. At $3,000 it was a bargain!

Melania, though, did "buy" American with her $9,600 Michael Kors fully embellished skirt suit featuring a wide belt cinched at the waist. Glam momma! Maybe a little too glam, actually.

They're both way too Hollywood for D.C.

Va-va-voom, Miz Vergara!

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello oozed attractiveness on the Vanity Fair Oscars party red carpet.

The Modern Family actress chose a very sheer Michael Kors number that exposed her nude bra and panties… And we love it!

Joe was clearly admiring his lady love, looking debonair in a fitted tux!

Such a handsome pair.

Don't they look like fierce goddess warriors???

Kendall and Bella were fringe-tastic in a strapless black dress and silver velvet wrap dress, respectively, but it was Ashley who really slayed.

The supermodel defied all conventions as a plus-size model on a traditionally straight-sized runway. We're so glad she walked this show!

Flawless!

Thank goodness Sterling K. Brown brought his sunglasses! LOLz!

Viola Davis popped up to the Golden Globes with her husband Julius Tennon on Sunday and these two just look dashing!

We would usually think this one-shoulder yellow dress is too simple for an occasion like this, but we're actually loving the sequin detail on this Michael Kors gown. She looks fab!

And her arm candy doesn't look too shabby either!

Do U agree?? Let us know in the comments!

Tommy Hilfiger Says Designers 'Should Be Proud To Dress' Melania Trump — Let's Take A Vote!

Tommy Hilfiger says designers should dress Melania Trump.

Tommy Hilfiger has spoken!

Amidst all the election chaos, the designer has come out to encourage his colleagues to dress future First Lady Melania Trump without any qualms.

Speaking with WWD at the Angel Ball on Monday, the 65-year-old said:

"I think Melania is a very beautiful woman and I think any designer should be proud to dress her. Ivanka is equally as beautiful and smart, although she wears her own clothes. I don't think people should become political about it. Everyone was very happy to dress Michelle [Obama] as well. I think they look great in the clothes. You're not gonna get much more beautiful than Ivanka or Melania."

The statement was in response to designer Sophie Theallet's open letter to designers asking them not to dress Melania because of Donald Trump's misogynistic, racist, and xenophobic rhetoric.

Tommy is the first designer to respond to Theallet's call to action, and it's clear he doesn't agree with her. Other designers reached for comment by WWD, including Diane von Furstenberg and Michael Kors, remained mum on the subject.

Well, then! Let's take a vote, shall we?
