For those of who had a good, solid chuckle yesterday morning while watching Morgan Freeman gradually close his eyelids and eventually drift off to slumberland in the middle of an interview for Seattle's Q13 Fox News This Morning while promoting his new movie Now You See Me with Michael Caine, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
The famous actor has come forward to DENY such a bold-faced lie, and instead, claims he was in fact up to something QUITE different!
Apparently, according to this just-released statement:
Perhaps all the press is tiring the guy out!
Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine started promoting their upcoming film Now You See Me on local TV news station show Q13 Fox News This Morning — yesterday morning — but it seems one of the actors wasn’t quite awake.
During one of Michael’s enthusiastic responses, Morgan got a few seconds of shuteye until he eventually shook off his exhaustion. LOLZ!!

It looks like Captain Jack Sparrow will be teaming up with the greatest voice in film, as Morgan Freeman will be joining Johnny Depp in the upcoming movie Transcendence!
Talk about a dynamic duo!!
They've been keeping a pretty tight lid on plot details, so we have NO CLUE what the film is about. But we do know that it will be the directorial debut of The Dark Knight and Inception cinematographer Wally Pfister!
If that isn't enough to grab your attention, Christopher Nolan will serve as executive producer, just to make sure everything turns out as awesome as we're hoping!
Both Wally and Nolan worked with Freeman in The Dark Knight trilogy, so it makes sense that they were able to land him for the super secret film.
Although we don't know much about Transcendence, they're assembling a pretty kick-ass team so far! We definitely can't wait to get more deets!

A better world might not be the only good thing to come from the Supreme court's marriage equality debates! It looks like the Prop 8 movie is getting the fast track!
Last year, Dustin Lance Black put on a play called 8 in NYC and L.A. — and Rob Reiner, one of the directors, already knew he wanted to take it to the big screen!
Of COURSE there's going to be a big-screen adaptation, and Black is on track (that rhymes!) to finish up that script as fast as he can! Which makes sense, because the media buzz around the debates has been huge. If you're going to bank off of it (and inspire everyone while you're at it), it better be now!
We're hearing it's slated to be directed by Reiner, but shooting probably won't happen until June or July — when the Supreme Court finally rules on the ridiculousness of Prop 8. No word on who will star, but if they take any of the cast members for either city, it'll be perfect!

The last time we saw this many shining stars together at once, we were floating naked next to Zac Efron in a moonlit lake, staring up into a pristine beautiful night sky!
Ok, so that was a wonderfully ah-mazing dream we had last night, but Now You See Me is for real!
