We've been waiting all night for the members of New Edition to get their Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards — and the honor did NOT disappoint!

Before the seminal ‘80s group got on stage, they were honored with heart-shattering tribute performances from the cast of their upcoming mini-series The New Edition Story!

First, the younger cast — including Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin — sang a high-energy rendition of the group's early-era hit Candy Girl. But that was only the first of many editions!

The older cast — including Empire's Bryshere Y. Gray, Elijah Kelley, Woody McClain, Keith Powers, Algee Smith, and Luke James – subsequently made their way to the stage to perform later individual hits like Bobby Brown's My Prerogative, Johnny Gill's My, My, My, and Bell Biv Divoe's Poison!

After the dazzling spectacle, original members Brown, Gill, Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ralph Tresvant all came on stage to collect their award — and promised a New Edition tour was in the future! Watch (above)!

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!

After what seemed like a production fumble, all THREE editions (young, old, and actual) of New Edition came out on stage to perform more classics — including Can You Stand The Rain and Mr. Telephone Man.

BET Awards 2017: XSCAPE walks the red carpet.

The girls are back together again!

Xscape reunited on the BET Awards red carpet in El Lay on Sunday ahead of their '90s throwback performance later in the night!

Real Housewives' Kandi Buruss brought out the girls — and we don't mean her bandmates — in a sexy LBD for the gray carpet, while LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott opted for very different black jumpsuits.

But daring to be different, Tiny AKA Tameka Harris bust out her curves in a white hot mini dress with sparkling, lace-up heels!

On stage though, we saw the girl group in the most over-the-top outfits!

The BET Awards are giving back to Chance The Rapper for giving back to Chi-town.

The rapper — sorry, MISTER The Rapper — is the youngest recipient ever of the Humanitarian Award, for his work with SocialWorks, empowering Chicago's youth through "arts, education, and civic engagement."

While a video package including Common and 2016 recipient Jesse Williams was inspiring, we were floored — and we're sure Chance was too — when Michelle Obama popped up with a special video message!

She called the 24-year-old "an inspiration to all of us," which, coming from this former FLOTUS, is about the highest compliment possible.

Tiny Cottle, LaTocha Scott, Tamika Scott, and Real Housewives Of Atlanta's own Kandi Burruss really brought it back with performances of All I Need, Who Can I Run To, and Just Kickin It.

Wait, what year is it at the BET Awards????

Because Mary J. Blige just walked out on the stage looking just as fine as she did in 1996!!!

The R&B icon proved she only gets better with age with a powerhouse performance of her new single Love Yourself, and with her on stage came out only the finest of entourages!

We're talking bodyguards, some brass players, and A$AP Rocky popping up in a T-shirt to casually lay down his verse.

Don't get us wrong, though… this performance was ALL about MJB! Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

Chris Brown Performs At The BET Awards — And Somehow Manages To Stay 100 Yards Away From Karrueche Tran…

That's some impressive planning. We mean, did the BET Awards have a team escort Karrueche Tran to the nosebleed section temporarily or something?

Because last we checked, Chris Brown has to stay 100 yards away from his ex — for the next FIVE years!

However they did it, Breezy managed to perform not one but TWO tracks without getting arrested, starting with Privacy. And speaking of planning, that one had the censors working OVERTIME!

Then he jumped into Party with Gucci Mane, though sadly there was no Usher to be seen — OH, maybe because he was the one showing Karrueche to her seat in the back row?? Ha!
