Their new album has been pushed back until December 16th, but you can listen to a new song from Folie a Deux.

Fall Out Boy's What A Catch, Donnie is a beautiful, anthemic ballad about life and finding acceptance. It reminds us of an Elton John song.

We're not sure if it's going to be a single, but it SHOULD!

The tune features the band's Decaydance labelmates, Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco, Gabe Saporta from Cobra Starship, Wiliam Beckett from The Academy Is, and Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heros singing snippets of a few classic Fall Out Boy songs towards the end.

Plus, Elvis Costello is also featured on the song too!

Fall Out Boy's new album, Folie a Deux, is currently scheduled to go on sale on election day in America, Tuesday, November 4th.

The band is now having serious doubts about the 'cutesy' election day tie-in and hope that their label changes the release date.

Here's the band's explanation:

Six months ago we thought it would be a fun idea to release our album on election day but this is not the election to be cute. We felt as though rather than making a commentary we were only riding the wave of the election. This seemed less and less like what we intended to do and more of a gimmick. It is now in the hands of our label to give us a new release date… it is our intent to get our record out this year and as soon as possible — as we made sure to have it done in time for its original release.

Pete and crew has a good point!

The elections are a serious matter and hope your record label feels the same!

By the look of things, Pete Wentz had a lot of fun - a bit too much - in London on Sunday!

The dad-to-be and his band, Fall Out Boy, were performing at the BBC Switch Live event at the Hammersmith Apollo.

The event was headlined by Fall Out Boy and Disney slut Miley Cyrus, with performances also by McFly, Ne-Yo, N-Dubz, and Britain's Got Talent champ George Sampson.

But who could miss Wentz crowd surfing douche-like?

So hardcore!

Didn't crowd surfing die out in the '90s?

We bet some of the girls got some good ass grabs of Wentz. As did the boys.

And he liked it!

So fitting for a Texas girl!

Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 24th birthday on Friday - white trash style - with hubby Pete Wentz, friends and family.

A party-goer revealed to Life & Style magazine, "They had people come over in costume and dress up in white trash. Wife-beater tank tops, jeans, trucker hats, mullets, - the works. And a lot of beer. Some were drinking beer out of paper bags. It was really hysterical."

We're sure it wasn't hard for sister, Jessica, to put together an outfit for the party!

The source assured the mag that Asslee kept far, far away from the beer.

How very un-white trash of you, Ass!!

The insider also snitched that Ass and Pete were also talking heavily about getting an NYC residence, to get out of LA and minimize the paparazzi experience and celebrity exposure for the baby.

Aw. Don't go!

November is going to be a big month!!! Especially in California, where the right to marry is being threatened by Prop No 8.

But, the campaign against the proposition just got some more support. This time from gay-friendly band Fall Out Boy, who just donated $50,000.

Last week Pete Wentz blogged:

"There are a lot of causes out there — a lot of 'good' fights to be fought. I think proposition 8 is pretty lame — as many others do too. It's fucking lame."

California Equality put it in more G-rated terms, releasing this statement from the band late Wednesday:

"We believe government shouldn't legislate love. Vote no on proposition 8."

However you wanna put it, it's awesome news!

A very very pregnant Ashlee Simpson sleeps with a bunch of teddy bears from friends and fans..

They apparently crowd the bed she shares with Pete Wentz.

How much longer before she detaches his balls to store in a jar under the kitchen sink?

He won't be needing those!

The couple are expecting their first kid this November and have been busy preparing the nursery.

Ashlee says, "I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun."
