You ever realize that you haven't taken your beard for a ride in a while, so you begrudgingly decide that you better do it before it gets too anxious and doesn't want to be on your face anymore? It seems like that's EXACTLY what happened to Philip Seymour Hoffman — because he does not look very happy on that bike!!
Either that, or he's just tired of having whatever's in the laptop bag (probably a laptop) weighing him down and constantly pulling him to the left!
All jokes aside, we're glad to see Philip out staying active, whether or not he's having a blast while doing it! Maybe it's just the beginning of his ride and all that stress from life hasn't yet melted away!
A little physical activity goes a long way! Keep it up, Philip!!

Now THERE'S the Philip Seymour Hoffman we know and love!
A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that The Master actor had checked himself into a detox facility, after he fell off the wagon and had started doing heroin again.
Philip was released after 10 days of treatment, and apparently got straight back to work, and we finally got our first good look at him since the incident, as he made an appearance at the Envision Awards in New York!
The actor looked like his old, scruffy self as he took the stage and gave a speech about his time working alongside Sony Pictures co-founders Michael Barker and Tom Bernard, who were both being honored!
We're so glad to see Philip looking healthy again, and hopefully with the support of his family and friends he can stay clean for many more years to come!

Aww! Too cute!
Phillip Seymour Hoffman may not be the best dresser, but he sure looks like a great dad!
The actor went for a bike ride with his 8-year-old son, Cooper Alexander, in New York City on Monday while wearing a noticeably large lock and chain around his neck.
Unlike his Oscar-winning father, Cooper practiced safety first and wore a helmet. Smart kid!
We're looking forward to watching Phillip's next performance in September's baseball biopic Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt!
