Who's the king of the Billboard Music Awards?

Minnesota State Senators warmed our hearts today by passing a measure allowing same-sex couples to marry!

The Land of 10,000 Lakes lawmakers voted 37 to 30 in favor, and the Governor is expected to sign it into law tomorrow!! Better late than never!!

State Senator John Marty, a democrat, was pleased as punch by the result.

He said:

“These families deserve the same rights and recognitions that we do. It’s finally happening."

We agree 100% and we couldn't be more thrilled!!

Minnesota, the birth place of Prince, becomes the 12th state in the Union to take this grand step toward LGBT equality!

Now everyone can purify themselves in the waters of Lake Minnetonka regardless of sexual orientation, LOLz!!

Twelve states down, 38 to go!!

Wow, wow, wow.

Before The Bangles recorded Manic Monday, turning it into a big '80s hit, Prince, who had written the song, actually recorded it himself along with the girl group Apollonia 6.

He eventually, handed it off to Susanna Hoffs and the rest of the girls because he wasn't sure if Apollonia 6's vocals could pull it off, but before he did that, he left a bit of a gem behind.

In this recently discovered demo (above), he collaborated with the girl group on the demo, sounding as flawless as ever.

The audio (above) is not the best quality, but you still get a taste of that Prince flavor. And it's oh so yummy. PRESS PLAY (above)!!!

These award are definitely going to be FUN.

The Billboard Music Awards aren't until May 19, but it feels like fun. is already a winner as they lead the pack of the world's most successful musicians with 13 nominations.

The newcomers are trailed by Taylor Swift and Maroon 5 with 11 nominations each.

But Rihanna, Carly Rae Jepsen, and One Direction certainly aren't losers! They have 10, nine, and eight trophy noms respectively.

This is going to be one STEEP competition and it'll be an entertaining too!

Tay Tay, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Miguel AND Prince are all slated to grace the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with EPIC once-in-a-lifetime performances!!!

Who else will battle it out for top honors??!

Word on the street is the Purple Rain singer could be called to court to testify in Michael Jackson’s wrongful death lawsuit against AEG.

To refresh your memories, the Jackson family is suing the insurance company for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted with involuntary manslaughter after giving the King of Pop a lethal dosage of medication.
