The Purple One may be gone, but his legacy continues to live on.

Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan headlined a star-studded tribute concert to Prince, nearly six months after the music legend's death.

On Thursday, the singers took the stage at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota to duet on Prince's I Feel for You. The duo then performed the late singer's hit 1999, getting the sold-out audience partying like it was, well… 1999.

Other stars in the lineup were Tori Kelly, Doug E. Fresh, Judith Hill, and Jessie J — who joined as a last minute replacement after Christina Aguilera canceled due to a "vocal illness."

The celebration also included a message from President Obama, who kicked off the event in a video message praising the music icon, saying:

"Thank you, Prince … for all the great work that you've done. You'll be in our hearts forever."

Now, the rapper is taking on corrupt pharmaceutical companies with a poignant new song Drug Dealer!

Ahead of his MTV special with Barack Obama, Prescription for Change: Ending America's Opioid Crisis, the 33-year-old dropped the new track that warns against the dangers of prescription drug use.

According to the StarTribune, some fans who logged on right at 10 a.m. — when tickets became available on Ticketmaster — were greeted with this message:

"No tickets but keep trying. Other fans may have reserved and released seats!"

We can't say we're surprised how quickly the October 13 show sold out, considering the lineup includes Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, John Mayer, Tori Kelly, Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, Luke James, Bilal, Mint Condition, Morris Day and the Time, Judith Hill, and Liv Warfield.

On Ticketmaster, prices ranged from $19.99 to $152.50, and already ticket holders are trying to flip their passes on sites like Stubhub and SeatGeek for a pretty steep profit.

The stars will take the stage at Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota next month to honor the iconic artist.

Prince's Ex Opens Up About The Late Singer's Alleged 'Cocaine Diet' & Habit Of Going Days Without Sleep

Prince's death continues to affect all of those close to the late singer.

As you know, the music icon was found dead in the elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota and an autopsy later confirmed that he had overdosed on a drug called Fentanyl.

Later, it was revealed the Raspberry Beret singer often stashed the drugs that killed him in over the counter pill bottles, such as aspirin and Vitamin C containers to hide his addiction.

For the Purple Rain artist's ex Charlene Friend, this discovery is just a reminder of how secretive Prince was about his drug use.

Although they spent several years in each other's company, the 44-year-old claims she never saw the multi-instrumentalist ever once do drugs, according to People. Wow.

But Friend does admit in hindsight, Prince's behavior makes way more sense.

They didn't even have a host, you think they were gonna have an In Memoriam?

The 2016 MTV VMAs had everything from a 15-minute Beyoncé concert to four separate Rihanna performances… but there was one thing noticeably missing:

Tributes to our fallen heroes!

Unfortunately, MTV didn't figure out a way to fit an In Memoriam segment into their 3-hour show on Sunday night; maybe they assumed they'd get a pass since literally every other awards show has honored the legends to some extent.

Well, that simply wasn't the case at the VMAs, and now fans of both Prince and David Bowie are complaining about the slight on Twitter!
