Aww… this sucks! Well, for the hopeless romantic in us.
It might actually be the best thing for Richard Gere and Carey Lowell.
The two have been married for eleven years (and they were together for seven before that), but according to a super bumming report, they've decided to go down Divorce Boulevard.
Seeing as how they've been together so long, we can only imagine they tried everything before throwing in the towel. And it's believed they haven't been photographed together since January — very telling.
We hear the 64 year old Gere and his 52 year old wife apparently
But, now, the supermodel and mother of two is opening up about their relationship and what role their huge age difference played on their eventual separation.
And of course, who better to talk about it than to Oprah??
On OWN's Oprah's Master Class, Cindy opens up about being only 22 when she married 37-year-old Gere back in 1991, saying:
"I think I was more willing at 22 to be, like, 'Okay, I'll follow,' but then you start going, 'Well, I don't want to just follow — I want to lead sometimes and I want to walk side by side sometimes.'"
She has since moved on and started a whole new life with restaurateur Rande Gerber and their two children, but we'll never forget the original superstar couple of the '90s! They were the Brangelina of their day!
Watch what else Cindy has to say about her marriage to Gere (above)!
Richard Gere is a centered man, living the life of a Buddhist!
As one of the world's most recognizable celebs, we're actually happy hear something other than 'I'm a Scientologist' come out of his mouth! LOLz!
The focus on personal spiritual development is more than enough for the veteran actor! Here's what he has to say:
Well Perezcious readers, that’s a wrap for the 2013 Oscars, and as long as it was, we can’t lie — it had some pretty AH-mazing moments!
From William Shatner, phenomenal music performances and some totes awks times, join us as we recap the night in GIFs… AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Daniel Day-Lewis JUST took home the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actor, Thursday. And noooow he's getting ANOTHER statue??
It's almost not fair. Almost.
Truth be told, DDL totally killed as Lincoln. He absolutely deserves the Golden Globe this year — and the odds are he'll win it again next year!
His fellow nominees shouldn't even bother showing up to the Oscars, LOLz!
Tired of Hollywood rebooting and remaking your fave flicks??
Emma Roberts don't care!
Julia Roberts' niece wants to make a Pretty Woman remake, so she can
steal breathe new life into her aunt's famous role.
Insiders say Em has been whoring herself out (metaphorically, of course) to producers, trying desperately to get someone, anyone to back her mastermind plan. According to the insider:
