Comedic perfection!
We will definitely take a hot, salty slice of some Roseanne Barr roast if Coach Sue handles the carving knife!
Comedy Central has confirmed that fellow comedian Jane Lynch will helm the all-in-good-fun roast of Roseanne, to be taped August 4th for an August 12th premiere.
Jane recently expressed:

No way, no how!!
Do not even think for a second that Tom Arnold is planning to show up to his ex-wife's upcoming Comedy Central Roast.
From what we can tell, he'd rather be dead than be there!
When asked if Tommy was down to make an appearance at Roseanne's big laughfest, his rep replied:

This should be good!
Comedy Central has decided that Roseanne Barr will be the next comedic legend to get made fun of for 90 minutes.
Since she hasn't had much success after her sitcom went off the air, we're sure Jeff Ross, Gilbert Gottfried, and the rest of today's top comics will have a lot of material to draw from. After all, she is running for president. LOL!
Nothin' wrong with that, but we have a feeling she's going to get all sorts of flack for her political aspirations.
We're curious to see if Adam Carolla will be invited to perform a set. After his most recent comments, we've kind of heard enough about his opinions on female comedians. Although, we'd love to see Roseanne fire back on that issue in person.
One person we NEED to see at that roast, however, is

Now here is a legendary comedic voice that we've been dying to hear react to Adam Carolla's most recent misogynistic outburst.
Roseanne Barr was one of the biggest sitcom stars EVER, so we think she would know a thing or two about womens' ability to write them.
In case you haven't heard about the controversy, the former Man Show host told sources that women are "always the least funny on the writing staff" of a sitcom. He proceeded to generalize that "the reason why you know more funny dudes than funny chicks is that dudes are funnier than chicks."
Much like his gay jokes, we don't think these were that funny either and Mz. Barr agrees. The comedian-turned-presidential candidate took to Twitter on Tuesday to share her opinion and wrote:

Someone's got a new #1 fan!!
Don't even dare arguing anything Lindsay Lohan around Roseanne! She'll just tell you to #STFU!!!
We are sooo not joking!
On Friday, Roseanne took to Twitter to simply make a statement in defense of Linds:

No joke. Roseanne is being completely serious.
The comedian really wants a show on Fox News so the 24-hour news channel will "be really fair and balanced and have a nice left point of view on there.”
Even though she is in the middle of running for president (again, no joke), the former sitcom star thinks her dreams of anchoring a news show might actually come true. In fact, she told sources that she was already offered a gig in the past and explained:

Roseanne

Sounds like NBC was listening to us!
Last month, we learned that NBC had picked up Roseanne's "comeback comedy" pilot called Downwardly Mobile, which revolves around "the proprietor of a mobile home park and surrogate mother to all of the people who live there during a challenging economic time."
At the time, we said the following about the show:
