Just leave it to Jude Law to be sexy and compassionate.

He's joining up with PETA to help make sure that seal fur stays banned in the European Union.

Jude wrote a letter on behalf of PETA and addressed it to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

He urges the WTO to keep its ban on commercial seal products, even though the Canadian government would like the ban lifted.

Jude said:

We guess sometimes you just gotta venture outside your comfort zone.

And we guess that means if you're an elephant seal, you leave the water and head into the city!

At the beach resort town of Balneario Camboriu in Southern Brazil, a huge seal waddled into the street.

It was being safe at least, because it crossed at the crosswalk! Ha!

The giant sea mammal, who weighed over half a ton, held up traffic for over an hour as police and rescuers made sure to keep splashing water on the beast.

Luckily, the seal wasn't injured and no one got close enough to be hurt by it, and it eventually made its way back to the water.

Burger's Zoo in the Netherlands has a real reason to celebrate!

They found that a Ringed Seal had been suddenly born one night, back on March 1st!

The zookeepers knew the seals were mating but they weren't sure if the seals were actually mature enough to reproduce.

Well we guess they were because now they've got a little bundle of joy hanging around!

Even though zookeepers often have to step in and help new seal moms take care of their pups, this little one's mama seems to be doing a great job so far.

Burger's Zoo is actually the only place where Ringed Seals have been born, so every birth is a little miracle.

This little pup is gonna stay nursing for the next few weeks, so let's enjoy him while he's still a cute lil fuzzball!

It's time to change the Yule tide on Yule Log's diet!

Yule Log is a rescued seal at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary that weighs a whopping 273 pounds.

Staffers have been overfeeding the colossal seal, who uses his sealy charm and cuteness to score extra food.

And we mean EXXXTRRRAA food!
