It's never easy being alone during the holidays.
However, it appears that Teresa Giudice will be flying solo this Thanksgiving so her daughters won't have to spend the holiday behind bars. What a brave decision!
In case you forgot, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum is currently finishing out her 11 and 1/2 month sentence at the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut. Tragic!
A source shared:
"Teresa wants Thanksgiving to be as normal as possible for the girls."
That's a nice gesture — but we have a feeling a normal holiday won't happen until AFTER both their parents are done serving their jail time. Oof.
Nonetheless, it's said that Miz Giudice may still call home while her mini-me's spend Turkey Day with their father Joe Giudice.
The insider added:
If you're gonna serve some jail time, might as well make a buck or two — especially when you're locked up for fraud!
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is set to be released from prison next month on good behavior (three months early than her 15 month sentence!) and will put out her memoir about the whole experience in February.
Needless to say the 43-year-old is ready to get back to business!
In Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, Miz Giudice takes an in-depth look at her upbringing, living the life of luxury on RHONJ, the her journey behind bars after being convicted of fraud with husband Joe Giudice.
In a first look at Tre's book — which will also include scans of her prison diary — obtained by People, the mom of four pens:
"People think they know everything about me … but they don't. Not even close. The world will see a new Teresa. A different Teresa. Well, actually, the Teresa I always was."
We can't wait!
We wonder if Joe will also write a novel while he serves his 41-month sentence starting in March??
What do U think of Teresa's decision to document her journey, Perezcious readers?? SOUND OFF in the comments!

Welcome to the neighborhood!
After news broke that Amber Marchese would not be returning to the franchise, we're hearing that lesbian couple Robyn Levy & Christina Flores have been added to the cast!
Not only is this AH-Mazing news since they'll be representing the LGBT community, but Robyn, 34, and Christina, 37, are actually friends with Teresa and Joe Giudice, as well as Caroline Manzo & Co., in real life — which means no more manufactured drama.
Plus, the married couple have been a part of the docu-series world before, having operated events for both Fabellini and blk. water through their PR firm Velocity 1 Media, so we just know they'll be comfortable in front of the camera.
Robyn and Christina will also reportedly be joined by
Home is where the heart is.
According to lawyer James J. Leonard Jr.
We hate to see her go out on such sad terms.
Amber Marchese was brought on to Real Housewives of New Jersey last year when Bravo tried to re-tool the show with a more mafiosa feel… but the chemistry just never quite worked.
Unfortunately for the mother-of-four, her role as a Reality TV star is the least of her worries as she is currently dealing with her second battle with breast cancer.
In a statement released Tuesday, Amber and her husband Jim Marchese announced that they would not be returning for Season Seven of RHONJ, saying:
