Classic person who doesn't think before they tweet dad move, Donald Trump.
The incoming POTUS quoted a tweet from another Twitter user praising his oldest daughter, writing:

As you may know, the up-and-coming actress/model suffered kidney failure after a battle with E. coli infection when she was just seven years old. So scary.
While accepting the inaugural Rhonda's Kiss Healing and Hope Award for his efforts to support cancer patients on Thursday night, the 53-year-old remembered the "melting" feeling he experienced all those years ago:
"To the parents in the room who I was speaking about earlier, who I have seen melting and their own form of courage. I was one of those parents, for weeks, when my daughter was ill."
At the time, Johnny and the now-17-year-old's mother Vanessa Paradis kept a constant vigil at their baby girl's bedside.
The actor continued:
She's only 17 and she's already scored a Vogue cover!
Imagine how much further she will have gotten in just a few short years!
Lily-Rose Depp looks like a total princess on the cover of British Vogue's December issue as she lounges on a couch in an ornate blue gown and what seems like no makeup.
She also has that sultry model gaze down pat!
In the accompanying interview, the up-and-coming actress talks about life as the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, claiming she was never the rebellious sort because her parents were never strict:
The 53-year-old has been hiding out on his private island in the Bahamas (not too shabby, if you ask us) since wrapping the European leg of his tour with The Hollywood Vampires.
Depp supposedly avoided going back to El Lay after the hearing for Heard's temporary restraining order was extended to August.
A source tells People:
"Johnny was very nervous about the court date. He really didn't want to return to L.A. for court. He was very relieved that his lawyer was able to figure things out for now."
And for now, the Black Mass star doesn't have plans to return to the States until his tour picks back up in July:
"He has no plans to return to L.A. He misses nothing about L.A. but his kids, and they are visiting him in the Bahamas."
The insider adds:
As we're sure you're well aware, sh*t hit the fan last month when the 30-year-old actress slammed Depp with not only divorce papers but also years of domestic abuse allegations. With tons of he-said, she-said floating around, no one really knows which side to believe at this point.
On one side, you have Amber's camp saying Johnny's "drug and alcohol abuse has increased dramatically in recent years, as has his violent behavior."
These allegations match up with serious substance abuse problems the Black Mass star has spoken about in the past.
You may recall J.D. was arrested for criminal mischief following a shouting match with Moss after he trashed a hotel room. Over 11 years ago, he explained :
Yet another ex is in Johnny Depp's corner!
Vanessa Paradis, who has two kids with the actor and was his partner from 1998 through 2012, has now gone on the record calling him a 'sensitive, loving, and loved person,' and directly refuting Amber Heard's domestic abuse claims!
Paradis wrote an open letter, initially obtained by TMZ, that detailed exactly what she thought of Heard's domestic violence allegations, and Vanessa does not hold back in standing strong behind Johnny!
The letter, dated Friday but only revealed now says in part:
Model, actress, celebrity royalty, and future legend.
Lily-Rose Depp gets closer to the top with every move she makes.
The 16-year-old's latest coup is the cover of LOVE Magazine, on which she looks like some sort of psychedelic fairy! So fierce!
A short interview accompanying the cover offers some insight into the young star's future plans:
Lily-Rose Depp has teamed up with photographer iO Tillett Wright for his latest photography campaign.
That's because the campaign, called the Self Evident Truths project, uses photographs to showcase people who identify — even if it's only marginally — as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or queer! The project's website explains:
"The Self Evident Truths project is a photographic document of 10,000 people in the USA that identify as ANYTHING OTHER than 100% straight – as in, if you are anywhere on the LGBTQ spectrum in ANY way, even 1% gay, we want to take your picture!"
On Sunday, the artist took to Instagram to share a sweet snap with Lily (above) that they took together for the campaign, captioning the precious pic:
"I'm so proud of my baby girl @lilyrose_depp. She decided she wanted to be in @selfevidentproject because she falls somewhere on the vast spectrum, and I couldn't be happier to welcome her to the family. She's a tiny gem of a good human.#prouduncle #weareyou"
And the famous teen isn't the only model-slash-actress to take part in the Self Evident Truths project!
Last year, Cara Delevingne snapped a selfie with iO for the campaign! Ch-ch-check it out (below)!
