Using crowd sourced funding from kickstarter.com, Zachary Quinto and his friend Sian Heder, are going to make a film about dog adoption.

The film will be called Dog Eat Dog and it's about a story that happened to Zachary about nine years ago when he wanted to adopt a dog.

Check out the above video for the pitch to the kickstarter crowds to try and get their film funded.

The film has already reached its goal but is still accepting donations because some of the proceeds will go to the Humane Society.

Okay, so U won't ACTUALLY see RoboCop in the next Star Trek movie…but U WILL see the actor who plays him!

We've just learned that Peter Weller, who played Alex Murphy/RoboCop in the classic action flick, will be joining JJ Abrams' Star Trek sequel in an as-of-yet-unidentified role.

Sorry for getting UR hopes up, Detroit, but it should still be exciting to see the RoboActor doing his thing with Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and hopefully Benicio Del Toro as well!

…Can't wait for May 17, 2013!!!!!
