Anton Yelchin has finally been laid to rest after his untimely passing.
As you surely know, Hollywood lost the Star Trek actor in a freak accident last week when his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled down his steep driveway in Studio City, CA and fatally pinned him to a front gate. He was 27-years-old.

Thankfully, Anton’s friends and family have since been able to say their goodbyes to the late up and comer as it’s said a private funeral was held at an undisclosed location on Friday. We can’t say we’re entirely shocked to learn Yelchin’s funeral service has already taken place as the El Lay county coroner ruled the Like Crazy star’s death an accident.
Nonetheless, we can only imagine this service came as a great comfort to the Russian-born actor’s loved ones. Since the news of Anton’s death broke several A-listers took to social media to mourn him — including Kat Dennings, Anna Kendrick, Zachary Quinto, and more.
In fact, Anton’s castmates from Star Trek Beyond even canceled their Q&A at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity event as they were too “devastated” by Yelchin’s passing. So sad.
We have a feeling the premiere of the summer blockbuster will be bittersweet for both Anton’s fans and peers. R.I.P Anton.
