Cue the awws!

Though the 27-year-old continued to tell People that her Mormon dad doesn't exactly agree. Not only did she dish that he believes "the minute you get engaged, you have to set a date," but also:

"In Mormon culture, three months is a long time to be engaged. But we plan on being together forever, so we have time."

Well, that's just beautiful — no wonder they're in no rush!

Jules previously shared the same sentiments a few months back, and it sounds like she hasn't changed her mind!!

Of course, with a schedule as busy as hers right now, it makes sense that she isn't letting any stress from wedding planning get the best of her right now.

As for kids?? The blonde beauty doesn't think it will be "any time soon." She explained:

"I'm all over the place. So it's really nice to have a solid path [with Brooks] now."

Well. We're wishing them both a happy engagement!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormon Church, has always had a strained relationship with the LGBT community.

For some dumb reason, LGBT and religion don't always mix well.

That's why it's so great that the Mormon Church is supporting LGBT nondiscrimination legislation!

The Mormon leaders had a rare news conference and that's when they announced their support for the LGBT nondiscrimination bills!

Sister Neill Marriott of the LDS Church's Young Women's program said:

But it’s grown into a full on declaration from Neon Trees lead singer, Tyler Glenn!

The 30-year-old rocker has come out as gay!

Tyler shared his truth with Rolling Stone magazine in an issue that hits newsstands Friday, telling the music mag:

"I've always felt like I'm an open book, and yet obviously I haven't been completely.”

Well he is now! Tyler held nothing back during his interview, spilling the deets on how hard it was to grow up gay as a Mormon, his early crushes and his first gay experiences!

He shared that he’s known he was gay since he was a little boy but had to keep that part of him a secret for fear that his conservative religion wouldn’t accept him.

He explained:

Mormon Missionaries: Ballers? You Might Be Surprised!

What's weird is that we're not really sure why anyone would just assume that a couple of Mormon missionaries wouldn't be able to ball as hard as the other people in the world… and yet here we are — COMPLETELY shocked by their skills!

Wow do they have skills!!

The fact that they keep dunking, mixed with the reaction of the unsuspecting players in this video, makes it so rad to watch! It's hilarious, heartwarming, and shows the power of a little bit of basketball!

Watch the video (above) for the full effect! Never judge a book by its cover!

Dustin Lance Black Penning New Gay Rights TV Miniseries!

Filed under: TV NewsGay Gay GayDustin Lance BlackLGBT

Dustin Lance Black already has himself an Oscar, and now the Milk screenwriter will be trying for an Emmy!

DLB is teaming up with ABC to develop an 8-hour scripted TV miniseries based on his own long-time involvement in the gay rights movement!

AH-Mazing!!!

Black, who was raised in a strict mormon household in Texas, has been focused on fighting the GOOD fight for gay rights since hitting it big in Hollywood, including efforts to pass same-sex marriage laws nationwide and the repeal of California's Proposition 8.

His 2011 play, 8, about the overturning of that amendment was met with rave reviews in New York and LA and had a star-studded cast on both coasts, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Bomer and Kevin Bacon. And now that play is being adapted by Black for the big screen!

Where does this guy find the time to write so much and still be such a champion for LGBT rights?!?

We are SO happy to hear about Dustin's new project and can't WAIT to see who stars in it!

EQUALITY RULES!!!
