NYPD Looking For 8 Knicks Fans Who Beat Gay Couple Outside Of Madison Square Garden!

nypd releases video of 8 knicks fans who beat gay couple outside madison square garden

This is just absolutely disgusting!

New York police are on the lookout for 8 Knicks fans who beat a gay couple while shouting homophobic slurs outside of Madison Square Garden Sunday afternoon!

Brooklyn natives Nick Porto and his boyfriend Kevin Atkins were walking hand-in-hand when they were assaulted by the group of men, leaving them with a broken nose and broken wrist.

Nick claims he was caught off guard by the hate crime, saying:

"I've never had a feeling like this before in the city. I didn't know that it's not over, that this sort of stuff still happens."

Police first said that finding the assailants would be difficult, but now they have gotten their hands on video footage (above) of the men in question and are asking anyone with information on the incident to call them IMMEDIATELY!

We are so upset to hear that people are capable of such disgusting acts and that hate crimes like this are STILL happening! Hopefully police are able to find the men who did this and bring them to justice.

Check out the video of the 8 suspects …AFTER THE JUMP.

This is simply the greatest basketball shot in the history of the sport.

And it wasn't made by a professional or collegiate star, but rather an 8th grader from Maryland playing in a church league basketball game.

Did we cry? Maybe.

Did we jump out of our seats in glee. Who knows - we blacked out.

One thing we do know?

You gotta ch-ch-check it out by clicking PLAY directly (above) !!!

UVA Lacrosse Player Sentenced To 23 Years For Murder

Good!

George Huguely has just been sentenced to 23 years in prison for beating his ex-girlfriend, Yeardley Love, to death in an argument.

The former UVA Lacrosse player had been convicted in February of second-degree murder by a jury.

He even admitted to having a fight with her that got physical, but denied he ever meant to kill her.

It's too bad he didn't get even more time — regardless of "meaning" to kill someone, if you beat them to death, we feel like that's a special kind of violence that can't be chalked up to accident.

We guess we should be glad that he's going away at all, but he didn't even get the maximum 26 years that the jury recommended!

Only One Williams Sister Moves On!!

Serena Wins Move On Quarter Finals

Venus was knocked out of Olympics singles tournament by Germany's Angelique Kerber: 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-5) in the round of 16.

Serena nailed 12 aces and destroyed No. 13-seeded Vera Zvonareva to win 6-1, 6-0 and reached the Olympic quarterfinals!

We feel bad for Venus, but are also happy for Serena!

If Venus wants a medal, though — she still has a chance in the doubles category with her sister.

Oh, and Roger Federer has reached the quarterfinals by beating Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan 7-5, 6-3.
