Days after Suge Knight was arrested on murder charges for the fatal hit and run he was involved in on Thursday night, the rapper has reportedly come up with a defense for his upcoming trial.

Apparently the 49-year-old is planning on telling the court he didn't know he hit someone before fleeing the scene.

According to sources close to the rap mogul, they're saying Suge claims he was fearful for his life when he stepped on the gas pedal of his truck that fateful night.

Suge Knight Arrested On Murder Charges For Deadly Hit And Run

Suge Knight has been arrested on actual murder charges.

It all went down at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in West Hollywood at 12:30 a.m. this morning where Suge and his attorney arrived to talk to homicide detectives.

He was questioned about getting into an altercation on Thursday during filming for Straight Outta Compton, then a fight at a burger joint, where ultimately his vehicle was used to — according to witnesses — repeatedly back over the victim and injuring others.

Suge and his lawyer showed up at the police station early and he was arrested around 3:30 a.m. on suspicion of murder. His bail is set at $2 million.

Melissa Rivers Files Multimillion Dollar Lawsuit Against Clinic Involved In Joan Rivers' Death!

Earlier today, Melissa Rivers filed a lawsuit against Yorkville Endoscopy and blames its doctors for the death of her mother, Joan Rivers.

The 47-year-old is accusing the clinic of medical malpractice, alleging that they didn't perform a tracheotomy during the 20 minutes where doctors tried to revive Joan back to life.

The lawsuit names five doctors as defendants, including the comedian's personal physician — Gwen Korovin — for being in the surgery room unpermitted, as well as another who allegedly took cellphone pics during the operation.

In a statement released shortly after the suit was filed, Melissa explains her decision to press charges.

Back in April, the 25-year-old went to jail for leaving rehab and then traveled to Washington D.C. to face assault charges for allegedly attacking a man outside of a hotel.

Bill Cosby's team isn't taking any chances on this next accuser!

Last month, we reported on a 24-year-old woman named Chloe Goins, who claimed the comedian sexually assaulted her at a Playboy Mansion party in 2008. She was 18 at the time of the alleged attack.

On Wednesday, Ms. Goins talked to the LAPD to give details on the alleged assault that evening — a formal police report, if you will.

The thing is, Chloe's case could possibly go through because it may fall within the six-year statute of limitations for sexual assault in the state of California! Out of all the women to come forward so far, this is the first instance within the time constraints.

Domestic Violence Charges Against U.S. Olympic Soccer Star Hope Solo Have Been Dropped!

As we reported back in June, U.S. Olympic soccer star Hope Solo was charged with domestic violence after she allegedly assaulted her half-sister and nephew while intoxicated at her home in Seattle, WA.

Today, a judge has dismissed all charges against the 33-year-old.

Some of the Oregon Ducks & fans are being pegged as sore WINNERS after Oregon beat Florida State (FSU) in the New Year's Day Rose Bowl game.

To taunt Florida's QB Jameis Winston, Ducks fans AND players were apparently chanting "No means no," throughout the game, whenever Winston's name came up.

Winston was accused of rape by a fellow student in 2012 but faced no criminal charges.
