Despite the big smile on her face, believe it or not, Alanis Morissette now admits that she was unprepared for motherhood.
The singer and her husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway welcomed a son Ever back on Christmas Day 2010 and has now written a column about having her first baby where she writes that she felt like a "a blank slate," with "no handbook when it came to all the changes that came with pregnancy and taking care of a newborn.

Gorgeous Miranda Kerr isn't afraid to warn future mothers just how painful labor is!
When the supermodel gave birth to her son, Flyyn, the pain was so excruciating, she claims she had an out of body experience!
She tells reporters:
I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body. I was looking down on myself, the pain was so intense. I kept thinking, 'How do women do this?' But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined.
Ouch! Determination indeed! The thought of it just makes us cringe.
Good thing husband and baby-daddy, Orlando Bloom, was there to hold her hand!
That was probably more adventurous than any pirate mission could ever be!

Jessica Alba isn’t having a grand ol’ time with this pregnancy. According to the starlet, this one is much harder than the last.
"It's a little harder on the body. My daughter still wants to be picked up and ever since my belly popped she's really on me."
Jessica underwent a process call “hypnobirthing” during her first pregnancy, which is where you undergo hypnosis during childbirth. It’s supposed to help you calm down.
"I highly recommend it. It just makes you chill. I was freaked my first time going into labour, like, 'What if I panic? What if I just freak out and am not prepared for it?' This just prepares you."
