“Until recently, I didn’t even know these diseases existed. The serious disabilities and suffering they inflict on the world’s poorest people is heart-wrenching. But I was inspired to join the END7 campaign because, for once, the solution is simple and available now.”

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has created an online survey asking gay and bisexual men about their sexual practices.

It hopes to give state and local health departments a better understanding of the HIV epidemic and hopefully will help them create new techniques for reversing the trend.

The survey only takes a few minutes and for every completed survey the CDC will donate to the It Gets Better Project.

They've already raised $800 in only 6 days.

So to all the gay and bisexual men out there, please, for your health and everyone else's, take the survey.

In a move that's somewhat misguided (but totally in a "it's the thought that counts" kind of way), Wendy's has started a new donation program.

This program has the restaurant giving you FOUR free small Frostys for just a dollar donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

You may not know it, but Edward Norton is the UN Ambassador for Biodiversity.

Crazy, right?

Well he is and he's trying to ignite a viral giving spree on Earth Day with an Earth Day challenge.

He's partnered with Groupon to offer $50,000 in prizes to the three campaigns that raise the most money for their green causes.

To participate, all U have to do is go HERE and donate as much as you want to the cause of your choice.

The campaign that raises the most money by May 15th will receive an additional $25,000 donated by Groupon to their cause.

2nd and 3rd place will get $15,000 and $10,000 respectively.
