Liam Payne spent his final nights trying to do some good.
Since his tragic passing earlier this week, we’ve been finding out a lot about what his final moments were like. From what it sounds like, he was going through a lot professionally and personally, such as dealing with his legal drama with ex-fiancée Maya Henry and his record label reportedly dropping him. It was mostly struggles and partying… However, Liam did spend some energy — and money — helping others in need.

On Snapchat, the singer told followers he was donating money to GoFundMe accounts for sick children — and urged everyone to do the same. Wow! He said:
“I’ve always felt really lucky to be in the position that I’m in, and my life aspiration is to have been a superhero. I can’t fly. I’m not a great mechanic. I wasn’t affected by radiation, and I’m not incredibly strong. All I know is there are websites out there for you to be able to donate to sick children that need your help. It doesn’t matter how small the donation is or how big the donation is. All that matters is that you look into that child’s eyes and you realize…”
What further drives Liam to donate? His son Bear, whom he shares with Cheryl Cole. Liam explained:
“As a father, it hits me slightly differently because I look at them and if that was my child, I would want everyone in the world to look at me, look at me, look at me, and help me. I have been spending the last few nights on GoFundMe trying to finish off people’s donations so they can get the operations they need. It’s despicable in 2024 that these kids are having to pay for these medical things that would be free in my country. I can’t not look at a sick child and not see Bear. I can’t and I won’t. So when I see one that I can help out with, I’m there. I’m there, and I’m ready to go.”
Concluding the video, Liam stressed he wasn’t looking for compliments or pats on the back from anyone. He just wanted to encourage everyone to join him in helping a child in need:
“I’m not asking for people to say well done or I’m amazing – I don’t give a f**k about what people think of me. What I care about is that that child gets to live the life it’s supposed to. That’s it.”
How kind of Liam. It’s so admirable how he took the time to try to help others, and those families will no doubt appreciate his generosity. You can watch his video about donating (below):
