Jerry Sandusky Gets To Keep His Pension

jerry sandusky pension keep wrong

This is just wrong: Jerry Sandusky, who has just been convicted on a bunch of counts of molesting children and will be spending the next 30-60 years in prison, is going to be able to keep his pension.

We're sorry, but if you use your job and the status that comes with that job to prey on young boys sexually, you should not be allowed to keep your pension. That's bullshizz!

'Pink Slime' Maker Lays Off MORE People!

gross-pink-sime-stuff.jpg

Beef Products Inc. (BPI) is the company that makes "pink slime."

BPI said it will be laying off 86 employees from its South Dakota corporate office because of a "campaign of misinformation."

This is their second round of layoffs since all the negative publicity surrounded its gross beef product.

The company and outside food-safety companies declare "pink slime" safe to eat, but it was just too gross for most people when they found out what it was actually made of.

Which is basically a bunch of yuck. Gross.

This round of layoffs is nothing compared to the initial 650 people who lost their jobs at three plants.

We feel really badly that people had to lose their jobs but we still feel like it's good that we know where our food is coming from and that the general public can cause real change.

Mario Batali To Pay $5.25 Million In Lawsuit

MArio Batali Settlement

The rules of owning a restaurant are complicated. The rules of owning multiple restaurants are also complicated.

What isn't complicated is knowing that confiscating part of your waiters', captains' and other employees' tips to supplement your profits is not a legal thing to do.

And that's exactly what Mario Batali is in trouble for!

But the good news is — after all these years (since 2004) of getting ripped off on tips and legal filings, Mario Batali has agreed to pay out $5.25 million.

Let's hope this never happens again!
