Ryan Murphy Set To Tackle 1980s New York City In Pose — His 100th FX Drama!

no title

Pretty soon, every show on FX will be helmed by Ryan Murphy.

The prolific producer is currently working on multiple seasons of American Horror Story, American Crime Story, and Feud for the cable network — but he's still got more dramas up his sleeve!

The primetime powerhouse's latest project has been revealed, and it's missing one signature Murphian element: this drama is… *GASP* not an anthology series!!

That's right! Murphy's new show Pose will be an ongoing series following several segments of life and society in New York in 1986.

According to reports, the series will explore the rise of the luxury Trump-era yuppies, the downtown social and literary scene, and the ball culture world.

Casting has already begun for the series, which is expected to feature largely new and unknown performers and slated for a 2018 release.

Murphy is writing the drama with his AHS collaborator Brad Falchuk and Stephen Canals. The three will executive produce with The People v. O.J. Simpson's Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson.

Sounds like Pose will be another luxurious primetime notch on Murphy's belt! Are U excited?

American Horror Story Teaser Connects All Seasons & STILL Doesn't Give Away The Season 6 Theme — But Does This Other New Teaser?

The newest American Horror Story teaser may not give away the season 6 theme, but it certainly reinforces Ryan Murphy's hint that all six seasons of the FX horror anthology are connected!

In the clip, we take a horrific walk down memory lane with unsettling visuals of seasons past — including Murder House's rubber man, Asylum's bleeding white nun, Coven's slithering threesome, Freakshow's terrifying tentpole, and Hotel's creepy Cortez key.

After the scary recap, the clip shows a supercut of the mysterious 6 six teasers to remind us there are plenty more horrors to come — take a look (above)!

While the Anthology vid may have not given much away, FX dropped ANOTHER teaser on Thursday — which is possibly more telling of the Season 6 theme.

The latest clip involves a triad of the scariest scarecrows you've ever seen followed by an even more frightening little girl, giving us some serious Children of the Corn vibes!

This isn't the first eerie, middle-of-nowhere teaser we've seen for the upcoming season, either…

Emma Roberts Lookalike Screams Old Hollywood In The Campiest, Most Hilariously Fake American Horror Story Season 6 Teaser Yet! Watch!

Emma Roberts may be taking over a mental hospital in the new season of Scream Queens – but in the latest American Horror Story teaser, it looks like she's just trying to keep her head above water.

Ryan Murphy's horror-anthology has been dropping one misleading teaser after another in anticipation of Season 6's still mysterious theme.

The newest clip pays homage to 1950s horror/sci-fi, with a Roberts lookalike playing a girl getting attacked by a Creature From The Black Lagoon-esque monster who definitely doesn't care if she gets back to her sorority in time for the mixer.

While this could be one of the many misdirects to keep fans on their toes, it could also be a big hint that the Season 6 theme revolves around Old Hollywood — a subject that was glossed over in Hotel.

With Season 6 premiering in less than a month, we don't have that much longer to wait — though we certainly wouldn't hate a full season about the horrors of the movie making biz!

Ch-ch-check out the campy teaser (above) and catch the return of AHS September 14 on FX.
