This week, it was reported that production on the HBO series Westworld was stalled due to a cast member suffering a medical emergency off set.

The actor's identity was kept under wraps — but now, sources tell TMZ that it was Zahn McClarnon who sustained a very bad head injury earlier this week.

Sources say that Zahn, who has a recurring role on the second season of the sci-fi drama, was rushed to the ICU after falling at his home and hitting his head.

The actor, also known for his work on FX's Fargo and his long running role on Longmire, suffered serious trauma from the impact, but is currently "on the mend" in the hospital.

As of this posting, the production of Westworld is still suspended.

We wish Zahn a speedy recovery.

VOTE: Next Week's American Horror Story: Cult Opens With A Mass Shooting — Should FX Postpone The Episode?

no title

Nothing is scarier than when life imitates art.

But in light of recent events, it might be too horrific to air next week's American Horror Story: Cult — because the episode opens with a mass shooting.

The beginning moments of the hour find a crowd of people under attack from a shooter at a political rally, which couldn't have come at a worse time following the real life massacre in Las Vegas on Sunday.

FX and 20th Century Fox have yet to comment about whether or not the episode — which comes at the center of a politically-charged season — would be postponed.

This wouldn't be the first time Ryan Murphy's horror anthology has depicted a mass shooting. Evan Peters' character memorably committed a mass shooting at his high school in season 1, which played out in an excruciatingly gruesome manner.

Of course, that Murder House episode didn't air off the heels of a real life tragedy — though we still expect Season 7's shooting, which was filmed before production wrapped at the end of September, to be just as unsettling.

What do YOU think, Perezious readers? Is it too soon for FX to air the episode, or is there already so much violence on TV that it shouldn't really matter?

Ryan Murphy Set To Tackle 1980s New York City In Pose — His 100th FX Drama!

Pretty soon, every show on FX will be helmed by Ryan Murphy.

The prolific producer is currently working on multiple seasons of American Horror Story, American Crime Story, and Feud for the cable network — but he's still got more dramas up his sleeve!

The primetime powerhouse's latest project has been revealed, and it's missing one signature Murphian element: this drama is… *GASP* not an anthology series!!

That's right! Murphy's new show Pose will be an ongoing series following several segments of life and society in New York in 1986.

According to reports, the series will explore the rise of the luxury Trump-era yuppies, the downtown social and literary scene, and the ball culture world.

Casting has already begun for the series, which is expected to feature largely new and unknown performers and slated for a 2018 release.

Murphy is writing the drama with his AHS collaborator Brad Falchuk and Stephen Canals. The three will executive produce with The People v. O.J. Simpson's Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson.

Sounds like Pose will be another luxurious primetime notch on Murphy's belt! Are U excited?
