Bobby Flay's Star Ceremony On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Gets Overshadowed By A 'Cheater' Banner Flying Overhead!
Yikes, what an unfortunate sight on Bobby Flay's big day!
The celebrity chef is the first among his peers to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday afternoon, but that achievement was kind of overlooked when a shocking banner flew overhead!
Well, the 50-year-old probably didn't notice it because he was too busy living in the moment, but everyone else sure did!
During the event, a transparent flyer with the word "Cheater" on it was flown around while Bobby was making his acceptance speech.
Bobby has been accused of cheating on his soon-to-be divorced wife Stephanie March, but it's unknown who's responsible for the banner.
Nonetheless, the chef wasn't too bothered by it. The Throwdown with Bobby Flay host's mom Dorothy, 19-year-old daughter Sophie, ex-wife Kate Connelly, Michael Symon, and Food Network president Brooke Johnson were all in attendance to support the star and give speeches.
Bobby said during the ceremony:
"I just want to make sure that everybody understands – because I know there's been a little confusion – I am not getting this star for my cameos in Entourage. I know there's a little debate about that, but honestly to be the first chef to get a star is really truly an amazing milestone I need to dedicate this truly honorable moment to the most important person in my life, my daughter Sophie. I look forward to watching you build your own star – the star of life, passion and happiness because really what more can we ask for? Love, Dad."
Guess that message in the sky didn't put a damper on the event after all!
