R.I.P.

David Bowie's family is planning to mourn in private.

On Thursday, the icon's loved ones posted a sentimental statement on his official Facebook page about plans for his upcoming memorial service, writing:

"The family of David Bowie is currently making arrangements for a private ceremony celebrating the memory of their beloved husband, father and friend. They ask once again that their privacy be respected at this most sensitive of times."

However, they are still welcoming worldwide fans to continue honoring the late legend in their own ways, thanking them for the tremendous support they've seen already.

So sad.

This is truly tragic.

Kristin Cavallari's brother Michael was recently found dead in Utah, after he was missing for about two weeks. And now, sources are saying that the 30-year-old was hoping to make a big step in his battle with alcohol addiction and mental health issues.

The brother of the Laguna Beach alum was supposedly "really turning his life around" before he disappeared, and was even talking about going to rehab.

An insider revealed to People:

"Most recently, Mike felt he wasn't able to maintain sobriety alone and needed to go into a rehab facility. He told his mom this as soon as he was released from his detainment."

The confidante confessed that The Hills star's struggling sibling had been even working with his father, Dennis, in real estate development.

The source also added that Michael's family is in the process of planning his memorial service. But first, they need to figure out when Kristin's baby girl will be able to travel safely.

Cecil the Lion's death will not be in vain.

In the past couple days there has been a ton of international outrage over the death of Cecil The Lion, a beloved big cat that was killed by a U.S. hunter in Zimbabwe.

But it appears Cecil's death wont be in vain, as local officials are saying his bones will be used to create an anti-poaching memorial.

Johnny Rodrigues of the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force recently revealed plans to place the memorial in Hwange National Park in hopes of raising awareness about the perils of poaching.

Cecil's body is currently out in the open so vultures and other carnivores can make use of all of the meat before they decide to build the memorial.

We can't wait to see the final result and it's amazing to know that this beautiful creature's death isn't going to waste.
