We guess that NO ONE can escape the wrath of lip-synching accusations on the internet!

Beyoncé faced it after her rendition of the National Anthem at the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama, and now, Mariah Carey has come under fire for her performance medley of her biggest hits on American Idol's 12th season finale last night!

And it was NOT pretty!

After Twitter essentially EXPLODED with criticism over what some viewers perceived to be bad lip-synching, as her voice did not always appear to match the audio during the live feed, the diva's representative quickly issued a statement that DENIES any wrongdoing on her client's part!

In fact, while Mimi DID sing along to a pre-recorded track, as many artists regularly do, her rep is adamant that she "performed with a 40-person choir" and "SANG LIVE."

What an AH-mazing performance!!!

Janelle Arthur, one of the final five contestants on American Idol, rocked out with The Band Perry for the Season 12 finale. They sang Done, which sounds pretty appropriate for the last show of the season, LOLz!!

Especially since every single judge on the panel is Done for good, ha!!!

Anyway, the two ladies were kicking and head-banging throughout the performance and still managed to NAIL their vocals!!

Last night's American Idol finale was SO STUFFED with ear (and eye) pleasuring performances, we're surprised the show didn't burst into a million little musical notes!

One such act featured eliminated contestant Amber Holcomb BELTING out Emeli Sandé's awesome jam Next To Me while standing RIGHT NEXT to Emeli herself. Brilliant!

Ooo it's very interesting to see how these rather different voices compliment each other AND the tune itself… and yes, Amber it slightly shaky at points, but it's never unbearable.

And, as usual, Emeli is wunderbar. LOVE!

Jennifer Hudson went back to where it ALL started!

The Oscar AND Grammy winner graced the American Idol stage for the finale on Thursday night with the newly crowned Candice Glover.

The former Idol and latest AI winner performed an INCREDIBLE duet of Inseparable.

Being the humble star that she is, Jennifer threw Candice the spotlight and told her to "sing it" at the song's end.

And the hopeful DEFINITELY held her own.

The fact that Candice wasn't outshined by Jennifer's powerhouse vocals only proves that gurlfriend is a true DIVA in the making.

We've been watching Mariah Carey feud with her co-judge Nicki Minaj all season long on American Idol, but finally, during last night's larger-than-life season finale, the diva finally took the stage to do what she's much better known for - her SUPREME and INCOMPARABLE vocal stylingz!

And that's not all!

Gurlfriend used the opportunity to take us all on a trip down memory lane, with a medley of her most beloved tunes, including Vision Of Love, Make It Happen, My All, Hero, We Belong Together…and of course, her latest #Beautiful, which just became her 27th number one on the R&B/Hip Hop Charts!

They might be one man down, but they're still doing their thang!

The Wanted are missing their fifth man, Nathan Sykes, as he's recovering from vocal cord surgery, but they're still trying to keep fans happy in the meantime.

The group headed over to Dancing With The Stars to remind us all why we love these boys so much!

They performed a dreamy new single for charity, Fill A Heart, as a foursome. And even though it's not the same without Nathan, the boys managed to blow us away!

Beyond the single being just totes AH-Mazing, proceeds for it will go to Child Hunger Ends Here.

We hate seeing the boys as an incomplete group, but we're glad the rest of them are working for a good cause while they eagerly await Nathan's recovery.
