The woman suspected of driving under the influence and smashing her car into the 15-month-old son of MMA fighter Marcus Kowal was arrested again on Wednesday — this time with a much more serious charge.

As you may have heard, Donna Marie Higgins had first been arrested on Saturday, shortly after crashing into Liam Mikael Kowal as his aunt pushed him in a stroller along a crosswalk.

The 72-year-old was originally booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and drunken driving charges and was released on Sunday after posting bail.

But once the toddler was declared dead on Sunday after his family took him off life support, Hawthorne police consulted with the Los Angeles County district attorney's office and decided to re-arrest Higgins on suspicion of vehicle manslaughter.

Even on the stiffer charge, however, the suspect didn't last too long behind bars — the elderly woman was released from the police station after posting her $100,000 bond.

While Kowal says he harbors no ill will towards the woman, he would like to "speak directly to her" at the trial, telling press:

So, it's no surprise the former Stanford swimmer already felt the wrath of his Ohio town in the form of his house getting seriously egged!

On Monday night, police did a house check on Turner's parents' home and discovered it had been egged with at least a carton.

According to reports, officers found broken eggs and egg cartons on the sidewalk, in front of the Bellbrook residence.

Sure, the prank seems a little juvenile compared to the armed protesters who gathered outside the Turner family home over the weekend — some of which carried AR-15 assault rifles and threatened to shoot the 21-year-old if "we see him victimizing people":
